Chompys at The Baso — Restaurant in District of Belconnen

Heard good things about this place. Unfortunately it didn't meet the expectations, tried to order online but the link and app said the store was closed. I knew this was incorrect so decided to go in house and order. $176 for 5x burgers, 2x onion rings and 2x beers was the first red flag. I'm fine with spending $25 for a good burger as I know the artwork that goes into it. The buns were not up to standard nor the standard of photos I've seen other people share. The Buffalo soldier was lacking flavour. Barnsey was the best of the bunch and somewhat a saving grace. Chips and onion rings also top notch, Perhaps...

Just ordered roast lamb roll... burger... I don’t know. It was amazing! (Uber eats) Beautiful fresh soft bun (pretty big size) Delicious lamb, onion gravy cheese! Oh it was so so good. I threw a few of the thick cut chips on there, just hit the spot! (I put chips on allll my burgers..) 🥴🤩

I tried the Mac and Cheese balls, they were good. Probs wouldn’t order again, seemed a bit bland. But I don’t care salt is not hard to handle! And every thing else was just soo soooo good.

Great food and amazing service!!

Lots of awesome vegan options available, and burgers are really easily customisable. Serving sizes were great. Nachos are the perfect size to share, and the burgers and chips were perfect.

We ordered over the phone for a pick up order and the service was amazing. Our food was ready when we arrived and payment was hassle free. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also perfect with a really cool interior design.

Absolutely no negatives to our experience...
