Ahhh … this place hasn’t changed. They have not improved their service. Food was half hour late šŸ˜ā˜¹ļø Serving staff were friendly but not really efficient - taking too long to clear tables when they have trays to stack the dishes - ie kept walking up and down with few dishes at a time in clearing up so new customers had to hover and wait. Also, I noticed there were 2 large tables joined but no customers and staff refused to allow new customers (4 in group) sit there - and made them wait while they did their inefficient clean up. I found it strange. They could hv separated the tables. The 1 hour I was there, nobody came to that table tho a group tried to sit there, they were firmly told not to. 🫤 Food is good - we had chicken dosa & chicken thali with masala tea. It’s the wait for the food that puts me off going to this place more often. I noticed one if the customers went grocery shopping instead of waiting. During his absence, 3 different groups sat at his table and were told to move by staff Comedy of errors. Free Entertainment for me 😬 Summary: good food but long wait. Go there if you are NOT in a hurry

I love the food in Barath Woden and with that expectation I went to their new Bint restaurant in Belconnen, I loved the interiors and it looked really nice. But they do not maintain it well. The seats we were offered was dirty and even after the staff saw me cleaning it did not have the courtesy to clean it for me. They toilets were dirty as well, even with this COVID precautions. we ordered two chats, biriyani and batura and a drink. It did not look like a busy night, Still they were very slow in service entrees and main courses all came at the same time and and they did not give the drink I ordered I went to both the staffs and both did not even stop to listen to me. The tikka chat the samosas were not properly cooked inside so could not finish it.and the pani puris were not tasty, the biriyani was pale . I loved the beer it was really tasty. My expectations were high and exited to try the new restaurant but it was down the drain.

Had dinner on Saturday night. The chicken and lamb curries were very tasty. The samosa were full of favour, the best I've had in a while. Local beer on tap is always a plus for me and they have 2. Would love to give 5 stars but it was noisy. Music was playing inside the restaurant but also some loud competing percussion coming through the wall from next door. I would've stayed for more beer but it was just too noisy. The service was perfect. All our food was on the table within 20mins of us sitting down. Very happy we came back.

A very bad experience with poor Service and pathetic food served. I ordered Masala dosa, Chole Batura and Chicken Fried Rice with Fresh chilli's. Both food items (Dosa&Batura) was served cold. Dosa was not crispy but dead/floppy on my plate, sambar was cold, coconut chutney was only 2 teaspoons. Batura was dead/floppy on my plate. Chicken Fried Rice was simple Fried Rice with chicken 65 with Curry leaves diced n thrown in and no fresh chillies served but with green crispy chilli's. I said to the waiter regarding the food served, he says "don't tell me tell the staff"..I said you are the staff and continues to argue that this is how they make it. Anways the staff went in and bought us another plate but didn't even apologise for the food served before and didn't come and ask how the food was second time. The staff seemed to have an attitude problem!!! Many of my friends had a very bad experience and told me not to visit this restaurant and I wanted to prove them wrong. But infact my friends are absolutely correct. I will not recommend this restaurant and i couldn't see the owner otherwise I could have explained the situation. Just flashy restaurant, poor Service n poor...
