I loved my visit to Café Stepping Stone in Dickson. This veggie spot isn't just about great food – it's also doing good for the community. The menu's a hit, with tasty options for everyone, even if you're not vegetarian. Their Turkish cilbir eggs are a must-try!! As is the masala potato toastie What's really cool is that it's a social enterprise. They're helping migrant and refugee women get work experience and skills. They've already made a big difference, employing lots of women across their locations. So, when you eat here, you're not just getting a delicious meal – you're also backing a great cause. It's a win-win. If you're in Dickson, definitely check it out! Sadly I only took photos of sides… but they were great 👍🏼

I’m so glad I finally made it over here! I was pleasantly surprised by how big the cafe is, and also that there’s so many good outdoor seating options, plus a small (enclosed!) play area for children, and some lovely adjoining kitchen gardens. The women working here are so helpful and sweet, and even made the Bircher breakfast (pictured) vegan for me on request (I believe it was a swap from regular milk to coconut milk), and it’s DELICIOUS. I will be back, and encourage all vegans and vegetarians in Canberra to come check them out, too, as there are so many options! (Seemed to be a lot for the gluten-free crowd, as well!)

I'm just thrilled that they opened in Dickson after visiting their Strathnairn branch multiple times. The ambiance is fantastic with plenty of outdoor sitting and green surroundings. Service was quick and friendly, with plenty of vegan and GF options. The menu is a bit limited since they just opened, missing my personal favourite, the Congee, which is served at their other location, but they've promised that it will be added to the menu in the future. Great addition to Dickson and we'll certainly become regulars here.
