I previously worked at Domino's Dickson so I would like those who read this review to give it the benefit of the doubt. It is a fast food establishment and mistakes are made. I apologise to all those who felt that the service given was not adequate. But I hope that people can realise it isn't the easiest of jobs. Crunch is certainly something a lot of workers have felt. It was no different when I worked there. Management weren't too kind to casual workers and a lot of the blame was laid upon those in that position.
So let me play devils advocate. Some workers were exploited. Underpaid staff was common among those I worked with. And the crunch of the job lead to many errors. I am sorry for that. But please don't take it out on the workers entirely. Upper management are largely responsible for that. Speed is engourage and the resources given to Domino's were not sufficient to allow quality.
I am aware my departure from the company was not very formal. But I want to inform the public in the kindest way I can. A lot of the staff are under a crunch time, risking losing shifts if they do not present as quickly as possible. And some lose shifts over slower delivery times. And just so I am clear, the company cars driven by delivery drivers are not safe to drive and aren't equipt with GPS, forcing drivers to illegally use their phones for navigation.
Domino's Dickson and subsequent stores owned by the same franchise have shown a complete disregard surrounding quality and safety. I don't say this out of malice but as a PSA. So please don't take it out on the workers. Take it up with management and the owners. Thank you...
Read moreI wanted to get the chicken meatballs for dinner went there to collect them they had they wrong sauce on them I went back straight away and explained that to the guy and asked if he could remake them he rudely said he wasn’t going to remake them because he would have to use extra food then I asked for a refund and he ended up giving me the refund and he said that he would give it to me this time but won’t again. And he told me that it was my fault that the wrong sauce had been put in the meatballs which I thought was very rude of that worker. I left with nothing that night. Time and time again when ordering one of our family favourite, design-your-own cheese and mushroom pizza, we find that regardless of paying the extra of $6 we still don't get what we pay for! Although we pay the extra ingredients we asked for we do not get the extra, instead it's the same amount we get when we order just one lot of mushrooms. The spicy prawns, taste great! but they are more like large shrimps than average sized prawns...why?
