What an awful experience. The general condition outside was pretty disgusting, especially from the back car park. Things didn't improve much once inside. We resided to the fact that we would bear it just for the night... Until we sat on the bed! With springs in your back and it sunken in, it was far from adequate for a nights sleep. We asked the manager for another room, due to the state of the bed. He declined. He then proceeded to refuse to give us a full refund, as he had determined we had used the toilet. He flatly refused to sit on the bed, no doubt he knows how bad they are. It was the worst customer service (rude, arrogant and disinterested) we've ever encountered, he clearly couldn't care less about his hotel, which he quite clearly stated. According to him, he took over 6 months ago, and it's pretty clear he has driven it into the ground since. He made it very clear that he couldn't care less about reviews, which is a pretty bad sign in the hotel industry and he makes zero effort to rectify issues. If you must stay here, do yourself a favour and inspect the room (and try the bed!) before you hand...

You name it, they have it. |||| If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay at an affordable price, you've...

Most things remained just the same. On the positive side, the very good value for money, walking distance to Dickson and its restaurants, free wifi, the cooked breakfast, even the full-size ironing board ... and with same-old negatives being the slightly drab, run-down room and even the hint of chlorine in the air. But while the young man managing the place was competent enough, something was missing this time around, and it basically all related to Mark's personal touch and engagement with his guests. It makes all...
