TLDR: If you're ever asked to wait in the waiting bay from the drive through, don't bother. Just get out of the car and wait at the counter, they'll forget about your order otherwise.
The last few weeks have been so disappointing. A few weeks ago I went to get a drive through meal at midnight after work and sat at the box for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. Lost patience and drove up to the window to see the staff sitting on their phone and not even realising there is someone at their window. Even honked my horn at them but they didnt even flinch. Today went in to get a quick drive through order. No line at the drive through, just one car before me. When i get to the window I was told to wait at the waiting bay, fine all good. 15 minutes passed as I watched at least 9 cars pass behind me from the drive through each one getting their order then and there. I got out of the car to go inside and see what the hold up was. They didnt even start packing my order until they saw me walk in, i heard they say that my order has been waiting for over 15 minutes. You know you messed up if someone has gotten out of their car from a drive through and picked it up from the counter.
I rarely ever leave bad reviews, i work in hospitality so I can understand when things are backed up, but the consistant bad service lately has to be mentioned. Management needs to pull...

Back to 1 star. Go through drive through to order a storm, told machine is down. Ok no worries, these things happen. While waiting to pay, the car in front of us RECEIVES ICE CREAM. When we question this we are told that within the last 10 seconds that the machine now all of a sudden is working...seriously they take the customer as a fool. Straight to mcdonalds for ice cream it was. Mate if you don't want to do the ice cream just say so, kids in the back seat no happy. Don't treat us like idiots.

Look, it is what it is, fast food. We've done drive through here maybe 20 times and for some reason I've never written a review.
Out of those 20 times atleast 15 times have been great, food is fresh and seemed to have been cooked to order, we always get asked to wait in the bay. Now if anyone from hungry jacks HQ or the restaurant reads this please take note...WE DO NOT MIND WAITING FOR YOU TO COOK THE FOOD HOT...hahaha we actually prefer to wait as we drive home and eat it there so the fresher the better.
Bacon deluxe, cheese burger, kids meal, are always decent. Only downside is the onion rings usually taste old, and that's my favourite part funny enough.
Overall it's not terrible, it has its flaws like most fast food joints but we don't mind it and the people working there are always...
Read moreWent there Saturday 7th Sept 11:10am ordered a UNO bundle meal through the intercom on drive thru, lady was speaking. When food came out there were no UNO sticker in anywhere of my meal. I asked the same lady it supposed to be there. She said they were stop doing it yesterday. Are you serious? This is big company yeah, you don’t say or assume just anything you want. On the apps says that promotion ends on 14 October 2024, mate! I don’t even upset about not getting the uno sticker, this about service. We travelled long way to get in here, you know how limited Hungry Jacks in Canberra. We drive a good car to drive thru, talk nicely, not because we want cheap food, because your food is good. Don’t treat us like cheap people please. And don’t give the very cheap service! No wonder why never this place has a long queue. What a shame. People stop coming just because of the service not because food! Whoever the owner please fix...
