0 if it was an option. Went through drive through just for them to tell us they can’t do drive thru orders, like why not put a sign up or something so people don’t drive in? We had to go all the way out and back and around just to park to get food then when we went inside the girls at the front were just standing doing nothing while there were plenty of people waiting for their food, they then looked at me and started laughing but I thought nothing of it because it’s teenagers working at maccas not a big deal. We ordered a small double cheeseburger meal with no pickles and no onions and a six nugget happy meal with sweet n sour sauce. We waited about 10 minutes watching them give out the exact same orders of food to people that ordered after us but I never complained because they’re doing their own thing. All of the teenagers stood there looking at me whispering to each other making it so obvious they were talking sht about me but again it’s whatever they’re teenagers. When we got our food they gave us a not even properly wrapped up dismantled double cheeseburger with pickles and onion and a side of cold not even full chips, the six nugget happy meal with no sweet n sour sauce and barely any chips as well. I only went back once just to ask them to remove the onion and pickles because my younger sibling doesn’t like onion and pickles on her burger, my other younger sibling said he was fine without the sauce because he didn’t want to be a trouble. We wanted to get ice cream aswell but didn’t want to either get told it was unavailable or wait another 10 minutes. Super disappointment with the service, atmosphere and food quality of this maccas. I’ve worked in fast food before and hated it and know what it’s like being very busy and having to deal with rude customers, I don’t think I was even being rude but the unprofessionalism is outrageous. They need to learn to teach their staff about the importance of having a good work ethic because they all looked like they wanted to go home like your being paid to work so...
Read moreSo bad I think I won’t revisit McDonald’s , tossing up with eating fast food, I decided to order through app and in the past had great experience mostly from Watson McDonald’s, Gungahlin was convenient, but no so tasteful, I order as always through the app, giving code at drive through, yes I opt for the more convenient and less face to face but service at pick up was disappointing with the staff more into chatting about what they are socially doing than serving the less face to face customer who opted to order online and Drive through rather than more social way, as a social awkward person I still kinda want confirmation my order is right or correct, I got grunted at, and saw 3 staff members discussing the weekend adventures they are about to do!!!!, I dismissed this as the whole reason for the drive through was to dismiss my hunger, as I live out of town, I reached in to the paper bag foreseeing the fries I would would enjoy, only to be served fries that were old and tasted like they had been fried more than once, I worked in hospitality and one know this was taste but not dare to guess how may times they had hit the fryer but was more then keen to guess more than twice, yuk was my guess, my dog turned his nose up, I’m saying mpre than twice, well the Big Mac’s more like cheese burgers these where next level!! More Mac sauce than lettuce, I’m guessing they were on short supply, literally no lettuce at all I could count on one hard the sliced lettuce, o had more pickles than lettuce, and this made the fact that the Mac sauce was well balanced over the top when he sauce was more than lettuce that it squeezed down my shirt. This was the worst ever experience I’ve had, this is hard to beat as I’m in the state emergency service and had to look to McDonald’s for welfare at time other places are not open, MacDonald Shane on you Gungahlin I sure my ses unit will look for better places after hours from now on like Burger King Really bad, from a hospitality person, really bad,...
Read moreThis afternoon I entered the store to get some Macdonalds with some friends, one of my friends wanted kfc so we stopped there first then entered Macdonalds after he got his meal, as entering Macdonalds we stood deciding what to get, the restraunt manager approached us and told our friend to leave with his KFC. Before my friend could even responded the manager interrupted him and aggressively said comments, E.g 'you wouldn't take someone else food into a restraunt and eat it' This was far enough, but as a customer my friend was just waiting for us to get food, and the manager had no sincerity, respect, or kindness in his voice. Instead of asking us to move out of the store with Kfc and explaining why, using normal things like 'please, or thankyou' he ordered us to leave like we were some kinda of filth. This is not what I'd like to expect from a professional working environment. After this experience we decided not to order food from this Macdonalds.
It was not just us he approached rudely, a group of people I knew were sitting at a booth eating Macdonalds, there was not enough room for them all so one pulled a small chair from a near table to use to sit in. No one was using the table that he took the chair from and he wasn't hurting anyone by using or sitting on the chair. The manager told him he had to move, and before the customer even finished getting up the manager already grabbed the chair and started moving it. He aswell did this to other customers, (two groups that I could count).
This was a bad experience and I wouldn't expect this level of rudeness from such a large company hat strives off there community and...
