Often very difficult to find a clean table. Service is typical McDonald's but cleanliness is well below what McDonald's should be. Staff are often standing around talking when there is overflowing garbage bins, spilled drink on floor and food residue on all visible indoor tables.
Went there again tonight. On my old phone the McDonald's app wouldn't work but bought a new phone and the app worked so I thought I would give it a go. Worked fine. Took the order and registered as I walked into the store. So far so good. Sat and waited for my order number to be called. My order number was 140. After they had served about 10 drive through orders and order number 150 had been processed I decided to go ask. They had not received my order and I had to show them the email confirmation. I took a seat and within a couple of minutes I received part of my order but was told their would be a wait on the apple pie. Long wait and after others that arrived long after me had received apple pies I decided to approach the counter for the third time. In total, over 40 minutes from the time the app recorded me walking into the store to receiving the final part of my order.
As a result I intended downgrading this store from 2 to a 1 but as there were several clean tables to choose from tonight I will leave it at a 2.

Read moreMe and my partner ordered 2 $1frozen cokes online and went to the drive through, we got told they were unavailable so we asked to change the drinks to frozen flavoured drinks. They proceeded to try charge us $2 instead when we ordered the $1 frozen drinks which includes frozen flavours. They then told us we had to go all the way back to the start and re order on the app so we did that. When we got back to the window to pay the lady told us to go to the next window. The manager then told us we apparently made the lady cry when she was laughing on the headset saying what do I do with these people. They then proceeded to tell us they wouldn’t serve us even tho we already ordered and everything. It was a waste of time and we had things to do and simply wanted a frozen drink. We did everything they asked. We went and re ordered like they asked and then they said we won’t serve you, you need to leave. The managers are rude and disrespectful. The workers can’t handle stressful situations. If a workplace wants to hire young kids they should teach them how to handle stressful situations and to not be rude. Read moreParked and ordered on the app, went through drive through and the staff member mumbled at me and hand gestured at the window so I stopped, they said something about payment processing and I said I’m sorry what’s wrong, I had a order completed receipt on my phone that said collected. They said oh I’ll get the manager to check I don’t know what’s happened, the manager came to the window abusing me right away about having to pay. I said sorry I have a receipt I’m not sure what’s happened he yelled at me to check my bank and I said it’s fine I’m happy to pay I just haven’t been told what’s the issue. Still abusing me about paying I did then moved on, He yelled through the store to park that one. So I refused I said no, not with that managers behaviour I’ll just wait here thanks.
I managed in hospitality, my eldest child worked for McDonalds for 2 years before her current position and UNI, I understand difficult customers. I was not rude or being a problem this manager was just on a rampage and it was completely uncalled for and unprofessional.
Maybe some customer service training is required here.
