Burger tastes great. The meat is fresh, tasty, and well cooked. I don't understand the recent fad of using "brioche" buns, I think a standard bun would be better, but fads are trendy.
As others have said, the prices are a little high for the portion sizes - But the quality is good. If the presentation were better, I could understand the price. I hope they will fix their prices, or protions in the coming months.
The decor of the place feels like a uni student found some free wood behind a warhouse and decided to spray-paint it. It's quite an inventive look for a burger joint; The seats could be more comfortable though.
On the several occaisions I have visited, I have had different people take my order, and the service has been inconsistent - Never bad service though. It's always friendly, but once or twice we had to repeat the order. My partner has dietary requirements, and it's lovely to see they're neither annoyed, nor unable, to cater to this.
Overall, it's a decent burger place for a great burger. It's obvious they're in their infancy as a business, but they will only get better.
23/03/2018 - Update. This place has made many improvements since a lot of their pricing feedback around the Xmas period - Their portions are larger. The meat is thick and wonderfully cooked. I have updated my score from a 4 to a 5. These burgers are great! Simple, but very tasty!
18/04/2019 - Update. This place has fallen victim to the uber eats epidemic. If you walk in and order, wether it be take away or not, it's guaranteed that there are at least 10 uber eats orders ahead of you. I've taken off a star because of the now crazy long wait times, and the fact that they have stuffed up some of our...
Read moreI picked up a menulog order from Oscys the other night and I have mixed feelings about the customer service. I will admit I did arrive quite early as I had just dropped off an order in Greenway and I already knew that I was going to be waiting for a little bit. I waited for nearly 20 minutes, and taking into account that I was early, I’ll say it probably would have been 10-15 under normal circumstances. I understand that small independent eateries do take time to make their food and the wait was expected. What was not expected was the yelling and arguing going on in the kitchen between the staff due to the disorganisation of orders. It seemed very unprofessional and made the atmosphere inside the restaurant really uncomfortable. I have not tried the food here yet, and in all honesty, the food smelt absolutely delicious so I would love to give it a try. I am all for keeping small independent businesses alive and giving constructive reviews rather than angry slandering reviews. I would hate to see Oscys close down due to a few easily...

Great to see the place open during these trying times but they may as well not be. You can't order at the counter, only through 3rd parties (which is ridiculous considering they have give up 30-35% of the revenue). However, even if you try to order through them to pick it up (while standing right there the whole time!) They've upped the price!! So they advertise one price on the door, then charge you another when you order! Fairly sure that goes against the policies of the companies that offer the delivery services. The icing on the cake was the lack of a reasonable explanation as to why they couldn't take the order and the fact that he seemed to tell us that they could accept orders, only at a later time. Two stars because the menu looks great and I'm sympathetic towards the chef who is clearly following orders he doesn't agree...
