Gizmos Cafe — Restaurant in District of Woden Valley

I ordered the taco bowl Thursday 12/02/23. The staff were very friendly but the food was, frankly, terrible. I didn't realise how bad until I was back in my lunchroom opening the container. The chicken was a piece of dry, overcooked sliced up breast meat. The "salsa" was a handful of garden salad fixings with a tiny amount of avocado mixed in, with some kind of unidentifiable sweet sauce on top. The corn chips were stale, there was no cheese and the tiny blob of "corn salsa" on top looked like it had already been eaten by someone once. For the price I paid this was totally unacceptable. Service is always great at Gizmos but today they went above and beyond. The team at Gizmos were happy to cater for a small meeting with only half an hour notice and with what they had on hand - which is no small feat in this challenging time.
