Totally agree with the comment below. Had similar experience with the food in the past, when the small tub of potato salad for which I paid $10 was only half full. Not to mention MAVI skimped on giving marshmallows with hot chocolate - never got one. Recently received poor service from the manager. Got an orange juice, paid $8. Got more ice than orange juice and managed to consume less than a half it before I had to go back to work. Asked manager if I could take the rest upstairs. Instead of helping me and giving me a take away cup so I can finish my juice upstairs, I had to take a glass jar and was offended not just by a lack of service but also with a mistrust that I would not return the glass jar. I returned the glass jar in early afternoon as I promised. Deeply hurtful and mistrustful comment that I received when I returned the jar left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. After being a regular and repeat customer, paying over $330 since February for their coffees and food, bringing a lot more to that business than getting in return, such treatment was highly disrespectful. I ordered a smoothie at around 10am. Nit too busy, but a steady flow of people. I waited and waited, and was stood next to the owner and 2 workers talking to a customer and joking and laughing. Then, when he felt like it, he started on my smoothie. 10 minutes later. I understand needing a break, but that was a bit rude. No sorry for the wait or anything. Plus the poor servers are flat out working hard and making coffees. They are usually nice to me, but the owner isn't. My recent experiences have been terrible. Today my order was made wrong, I told staff clearly what I ordered and then it was made wrong again this time with less food than before and brought back begrudgingly.
