I honestly don’t usually do this and i think this might be my first ever review! We were super excited to come here and we waited in line all good- we were met with a woman at the front to take our order who seemed like the manager who not only didn’t even look at us for awhile she started taking our order and talking to us very intermittently and then completely ignored us and started a conversation laughing with her colleagues, we were there waiting as we were in the middle of our order, id already asked for one poached eggs and then finally she returned her focus to us, i reminded that we wanted one poached eggs for myself and then scrambled eggs for my partner. She informed us there was no scrambled eggs and asked do we want two sets of poached instead, we agreed. That sounded great, ordered the coffees and went on our way. We sat outside and waited on a dirty table that was genuinely filled with plates and cups from what seemed like 4 different people. The food finally came, well, the first poached eggs and coffee’s. The food was very basic and nothing special. Very much something I could make at home(and i burn toast everytime) To no surprise after a terrible experience so far, the second poached eggs didn’t arrive. We told one of the waitresses and she said that she’s sorry and that she’d get us our dish on the house for the confusion. We were happy as that was the least they could do. She then returned 10 minutes later saying that her manager wouldn’t allow us to have the poached eggs she promised and we ordered originally and we had to pay. We decided to leave it, go use some mouth wash and take a shower to wash off the place. We swore to never touch this place ever again. Absolutely terrible would definitely not recommend, if it was the last place on earth- I...

I write this 5 star review whilst dreaming of Little Iris' lemon slice and the chorizo I added to my breakfast 2 weeks ago... yep it's been 2 weeks and I'm still thinking about it...

We were lucky enough to find Little Iris whilst on holiday in Dunsborough recently and what a find it was! The space is bright, airy and beautiful spilling out into the garden which features lawn space and colourful vege patch. We spent our mornings out here with our fur baby who enjoyed the shady areas to sit whilst hoping for any crumbs we might drop.

Heaps of options for those with dietary requirements on both the menu and the display cabinet. A warning though, if you are like me and allergic to gluten, dairy and eggs you will be shocked by how many cakes and treats you can enjoy here! Like I considered extending my leave so I could try all the offerings. The Little Iris offering is unmatched by any cafe I've visited in Perth.

All the food we ordered was fresh, delicious and you could see how much love and thought goes into it. Shout out to the lovely chef who noted my order and came to confirm my dietary so she could offer me more rather than make an assumption - attention to detail is everything when you have lots of dietary.

The coffee and sticky chai were epic too!

A big thank you to Sam and her team. Sam - you should be so proud of what you have created, your Grandmother would be proud. We are already trying to work out when we can come back just so we can come and eat again! Please...

I've been here a couple of times, unfortunately today had a bit of an uncomfortable experience. Ordered the "loaded cornbread with smoked salmon" (menu says it comes with a choice or avocado or smoked salmon). The waitress brought out the cornbread with smoked salmon as requested then a separate bowl of smoked salmon. When I said I already had salmon she said it was the extra side I had paid for. I said I ordered just the cornbread with the smoked salmon option on the menu and then she argued with me saying that "the cornbread normally comes with smoked salmon so i ordered an extra portion" (which I would not have done and also seems like an unusual order the kitchen should've queried). She then said it was already out so I could choose to eat it or not eat it.

Basically I felt like I had to argue the phrasing of the menu, and the whole situation could've been resolved with an apology for the error on the cafes part and potentially an offer of a refund (which to be honest I might not have worried about).

I'll still come back, the cornbread was very good, but it was an upsetting interaction. Also, there was no cutlery on our table so would've been nice if the waitress brought us some or pointed out where we...

Little Iris Café absolutely deserves all the praise it gets. We stumbled upon it while looking for a cozy spot for brunch, and it turned out to be one of the most welcoming and accommodating places we visited during our time in Busselton. What really stood out was how willing the staff were to go the extra mile. I have a gluten intolerance, and although the ham and cheese sandwich I wanted wasn’t listed as gluten-free on the menu, they kindly offered to customise one for me using their gluten-free bread. It might sound simple, but that kind of flexibility and care is surprisingly rare—and it made all the difference. The sandwich itself was delicious: generous with the ham and melted cheese, and the gluten-free bread was soft and nicely toasted, not dry like many others I’ve had elsewhere. Beyond the food, the café has a lovely, calm atmosphere with thoughtful décor and friendly, down-to-earth service. The coffee was excellent too—smooth, rich, and well-balanced. It’s a small place but clearly run with heart. Whether you have dietary requirements or just want a great coffee and a bite in a warm, relaxing space, Little Iris Café is well worth a visit.

5 stars for the lady taking my order and everyone who served me...BUT it took 30mins for my food to arrive. I gave myself 50mins to have brunch but I ended up having 10mins to eat before my appointment at Tama Wellness (which I deliberately came right next to the spa so that I won't be rushing) I had to gobble down my food as fast as I can, and was late for my appointment in the end - so it ate into my appointment time which I drove down 3 hours for alone time after 3 years of hard work no break. The food was ooooookay, the chorizo was a bit spicy for anyone who doesn't eat spicy food. Coffee was good. Overall just disappointed coz I really was looking forward to a nice relaxing meal. My lamb rack dinner at Amelia Park took less than 30mins to rock up🤷🏻‍♀️

Absolutely stunning, cozy and friendly cafe with delicious coffee (I've just started decaf too & it’s yum). Outdoor has plenty of shade under the cute umbrellas & feels relaxed. Poached eggs are divine with the yummiest toast, buttered to perfection. Also had the banana bread which doesnt disappoint. But…… the real MVP in particular for a hangover is the bacon & egg sandwich 👌🏼 or corn fritters with the jalapeño cream cheese. To be fair, not a single item on the menu would disappoint. I also had my party catered and the phots show some of the goodies, all delicious. Get in there and try it all!
