Tas's Bakery — Restaurant in Dunsborough

Charged more than displayed prices. I have long enjoyed the baked goods from this bakery but was disappointed today to be overcharged due to a price increase not reflected on the menu boards or notified anywhere else before ordering. When I queried the price total to be paid I was advised of the recent increase. Stating that I wanted to pay the advertised prices because shops are not allowed to charge different to their displayed prices, the answer was re-presentation of the EFT machine with the amount unchanged and "I only work here". 25/6/22: This was the original Baker for Dunsborough who moved on from the original bakery years ago. I have been going to Tas's ever since they moved. The pies are really good, the ham & cheese sausage rolls are next level (worth the 3 hour drive alone), they still make old fashioned horse shoe rolls like you used to get at the school canteen and old fashion cinnamon buns (now called scrolls?) which are full of cinnamon but really sweet. Jagged a rare school holiday filled parking space, so decided to pop into here to get some lunch and dinner to take back to our resort. Absolutely best decision ever! Both rolls we ordered were fresh, tasty, and packed full of ingredients (mine: tuna and salad). Have a quiche for dinner tonight, so high expectations. Hard to believe such a gem is in the relatively run-down centre, but they were so busy all the time we were there.
