This cafe offers an amazing dining experience with a unique selection of food that truly stands out. Every dish I tried was flavorful and well-prepared, making it a great spot for food lovers. One thing that impressed me was the availability of free cold water, with options for both sparkling and still—something many cafes charge extra for. Additionally, complimentary condiments like ketchup and BBQ sauce were a nice touch, whereas other places often add extra fees for such basics. However, I have deducted one star due to the cutlery, which was not clean. I m not the expert but I would strongly recommend the cafe to soak all cutlery in hot water with a little vinegar and then polish them with a cloth for a sparkling finish. If this issue is addressed, the cafe definitely deserves a full 5-star rating.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Overall, a great place with fantastic food and thoughtful perks. I will definitely be back!

Took my wife for lunch date at Beach St & Co, situated on a quiet street in Fremantle which overlooks the swan river and Fremantle bridge. This place offers flavours mixed between eastern and western. The mixture of spices and fresh ingredients on their meal makes it a must to visit for those who are looking for a new place to eat. They have outdoor seating available so you can enjoy your meal while enjoying the sun and cool breeze. Food was great for sure and tasty. Definitely my kind of taste buds and flavours are on point. Kids meals are available as well. Top notch service by all staff, they make great coffee by the way. I'll definitely be coming back here again but this time it will be at night as I think dining at night here will be better than during the day but I'm sure it will be busy.

Was pleasantly surprised with this place. Nestled in a place in Freo where you can sit down and let the world pass by. With a good vantage point where you can not only watch cars and people go by, but boats as well. Then there is the food. What we ordered the gnocchi in a Gorgonzola cream sauce with pine nuts and pumpkin and spinach. Must say the gnocchi was hand made and was like a pillow. It was really good!! The Bruschetta was good as well with the addition of smoked salmon. The only complaint if there was one was that there was no red onion in the bruschetta, but that’s pretty minor. With free sparkling or still water on a self service tap and pretty ok coffee. This place definitely rocks!!

I just wanted to share my experience as a Coeliac at this restaurant. I wanted to share my experience with the owner before leaving a bad review here to give the venue a chance to rectify the situation. My email has had no response. To summarise what happened I was served a pizza that was not GF even though I was told it was by the waitress when she handed it to me it was. I confirmed the order twice with the waitress when ordering. When the food came out I ate about half the pizza before being told by waitress, the kitchen had made a mistake and it was in fact not GF. The chef came out and came across indifferent about the mix up - no apology. He told me that it was because the docket didn’t print properly / had no ink. That’s not an excuse. There were 2 tables in the restaurant so he definitely had time to change it and reprint the docket or he could have looked at the order at the counter/confirmed with the waitress. The waitress should have communicated more thoroughly with the chef and confirmed it was GF when she went to pick it up at the pass. This lack of communication is negligent and incompetence. If your staff can’t handle this you absolutely should not be advertising GF on your menu. If this were a peanut allergy it would have been handled very differently. I think their staff need more training in cross contamination and celiac disease to appreciate the weight of their responsibility in serving GF food. I have had to take a day off work because of a mistake their staff made. For some severe cases a mistake like this can be life threatening. Just because it’s not an immediate reaction doesn’t make it not your responsibility. If you advertise GF on your menu you should be able to execute the preparations safely. I would have expected a much more sincere apology...

Had lunch there today with some friends. I had booked online and requested an outside table but they didn't have that information but staff really tried to accommodate. We ended in the small courtyard which was great. For mains we ordered Prawn Salad and a pasta dish. Prawn Salad was very ordinary indeed with half a dozen Prawn heads, 4 prawn tails and sliced cabbage salad which can be purchased at any supermarket which was soggy and a few other bits n bobs. Both dishes were around the $30 mark, overpriced by a long shot. The lovely young lady that served us asked how we found the food so we discussed our thoughts with her and she took it on board. The Managers response was "She is just my 18yo helper", very dismissive of a job well done. We noticed their camera on the roof and my 'bad' I flipped the bird regarding the Prawn dish. The 'Manager' came and asked what was the problem. Her attitude was quite defensive and she wasn't about to listen and immediately offered us a refund, which I declined, I just wanted to pass on our thoughts. I have been in the food industry and know that diners feedback is your most important tool going forward and word of mouth can hurt. The Managers 'bad' was her completely dismissive attitude towards us and her young waitress. Kinda leaves a bad taste. We have been to your Cafe several times and had great experiences, but...

I don't write many reviews but I felt my experience today deserved one. Have been here a few times in the past and had no issues but today there were many. I ordered the Paleo breakfast and a cappuccino. Asked to make sure the Paleo brekky was gluten free and she assured me it was. I was very excited for the pumpkin bread. I got my coffee which was half froth and incredibly burnt. I could not drink it so I asked for another one (I had to go inside as nobody came to the table to check). They then bought me out a cappuccino in a takeaway cup which I did not ask her (it was supposed to be I a mug). I looked a little surprised and the waiter asked me if I did not order it he would take it back and was quite rude so I accepted it. Then the food came out with gluten free toast and no butter. I asked why I didn't get the pumpkin bread and they said I asked for gluten free. But the pumpkin bread IS gluten free. So he said he would get the kitchen to bring me some. This took 15 minutes and they bought me one small piece of pumpkin bread, also with no butter. No apology from the staff or anyone checking if we needed anything. Terrible service. I...
