Beautiful massive brewery right along the port of Fremantle located between the museum and Eshed markets. Fantastic kids play area with a car and boat to play in the sand pit. Food menu is a decent size with an array of wood fire pizzas, share plates and bites to eat so lots of beers on tap and a huge drinks menu. Very popular and if with children get in early (unsure if they do reservations) we went on a Saturday 11.30ish and were able to secure a seat near the playground. Other end of the venue is very much an adult area but also can have children. Food comes out as it's cooked so if ordering large amounts in a big group don't expect all your meals to come out at the same time. The pizzas look amazing. We ordered the fish and lamb tacos to share and a kids fish and chips. The kids serving is very generous and the fish was lovely in taste and not coated in thick batter. The tacos were nice but the lamb over powered the other flavours and honestly tasted like bbq pulled lamb and the fish taco was very nice but the spices although delicious over powered it tasting like fish it was almost like having chicken tacos with a softer texture still they hit the spot. Drinks are refreshing. Beers are very crafty style. We got a paddle at $15 which Is set beers (you don't get to choose) they gave a print out on each beer. Well worth a visit.

Enjoyed a family birthday lunch at Gage Roads. It's a great location right on Victoria Quay with parking (paid) available. There are no bookings but the place is quite vast so there's plenty of space for large groups. There is a small kids play area for the young ones. The menu is a little limited but there's enough choice to please most people. Wood fired pizza are well made but again a bit limited on choice for toppings. The fish and chips was very nice with two good size pieces of fish, great chips and salad. There was a good range of beers and other drinks available and pricing was reasonable for food and drinks. A stage was being setup for live music later that evening (Friday) which would have been good. One point of annoyance was the prevalence of predatory seagulls that was made worse by people who insist on feeding them. Overall a good place to go with a group of friends.

Firstly I did send my feedback to the management but didn't receive a reply so here it goes. The place is huge and in a great location. Service for everything was very quick. A few things need improvement. The area around the playground which is great BTW, needs umbrellas on every table. It's just simply too hot otherwise. Bins should be provided. Ice cream cups were all over the outdoor area which no staff member picked up. Bins could have prevented them from flying around. The beer selection is fantastic of course. Now the bad things. Food needs improvement. I ordered chicken and pork tacos which were tiny and the homemade corn tortilla didn't taste nice at all. It was all cold and really just one piece of meat with a ton of red cabbage. Kids crunchy nuggets weren't crumbed as you may think reading the name. In fact they were plain and on the border of being raw. Kids pizza is too small and boring. In total the selection of warm a bit more substantial meals could be better. Small bites need taste improvement.

As Freo locals we were looking forward to gage roads opening. Earlier in the day my friend tried to send his lobster roll back as it was obvious they had run out of everything and just put anything on the plate. He got told he had to get over it. Later we ordered a pepperoni pizza and got delivered some weird hybrid of the pork and fennel sausage pizza and the pepperoni...tried to send it back twice through the waitstaff and the horrendous head chef, Danny sent them back with their tails between their legs, with excuses about us not knowing what we were talking about. so when I showed the sopressa alongside the sausage alongside the jalapenos to my mate Danny he told me to talk to someone else as he didn't care. It's ok for people to make mistakes, especially in their first week open but the attitude from Danny was sooooo bad. The wait staff were great but that kitchen needs an overhaul!

Very impressed by covid doorman. Beer - need chilled glasses pls Cutlery caddies - not covid safe Food - pizza not cut & I didn't like the style of base (personal pref). Tacos not great due to gluten free fish not battered would make a world of difference. Counter staff - very helpful General staff - great quick to clear dishes Overall I feel I'm safe coming here but to be fair it is a Tues at 4pm. Kitchen super slow. Masks on patrons and staff could be better enforced. New menu review sat lunch- Food improved menu loved all the eats today (share plates fish, octopus, steak) Service 3/5 worse today no one offered me share plates and then when asked gave me 3 not 4 plates. Need more friendly and open communication from wait staff please! How was your meal? Is a great start.

A super big warehouse that's been coverted into a super big pub. Located on Victoria Quay, it's very close to the Maritime Museum and Freo's town centre. Plenty of parking is available close by. We had a choice of sitting in a table service area or an area where you order at the bar. We chose the former. The menu has vegan and gluten free options. Quite a few Pizza selections. Our Margherita was ok; the sauce was just a little runny. Gage Roads is a brewer, so there is a reasonable selection of beers. I enjoyed a schooner of Side Track, which is quite a fruity beer. Juices and soft drink are also on the menu, but the juices were not available when we visited. Service was good and the amenities were clean & tidy.
