Freo Harbour Bar — Restaurant in Fremantle

Wandered around the markets in E shed working up an appetite for lunch. The Freo Harbour Bar was recommended by Mr Cannolo for an authentic Italian lunch. Well, we were impressed. We shared the two blackboard specials, Meatballs and Spare ribs. The flavour in the sauces was amazing. We thought the dishes looked a little small, but in the end we were full. The meatballs were very filling and the garlic bread delicious. The ribs were tender with a generous dousing of sauce all on a pizza dough base to soak it up. A beer from the tap and it was complete. The chef and the waitress were genuinely friendly and they were happy to chat with us. The staff were incredibly rude and repeatedly lied to us about everything to do with our very simple order. It was ready over half an hour after they promised it would be ready - we had even stressed to them that we had an appointment very soon and so we would rather not order in the first place than it be late. The lady who served us was argumentative, rude and belittling. Our order also tasted bland and stale. Highly recommend NOT trending this...

FHB has a lovely outdoor seating area and a pleasant foodcourt indoor seating area. Very airy and nice. Main food is pizza and drinks include tap beer, wine and etc. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking bays around with first hour fee at $2.50....
