I went to a couple of different places looking for a half eggs Benedict but, alas, only two cafes open in town and neither do half eggs Benny. Stopped at this treasure of a bakery and was looking to get something light for brekkie. Spoke to the lady about my breakfast woes (first world problems right) and she mentioned they do brekkie! I ended up getting a poached egg on toast with hollandaise sauce. The lovely lady brought it out and there were two eggs because she thought the first was a bit small, bless her. Brekkie was delicious and it was nice to find somewhere to have a smaller breakfast and coffee. They also do bahn mi, rice paper rolls and, burgers. The roast pork for rolls looks absolutely phenomenal. I also loved the decor. Big comfy chairs. Could spend hours here sipping coffee, reading a book, ordering sweets and watching the world go by. All the staff are super friendly and knew everyone that came in. Can not recommend this place enough! Also VERY...

The craving for the Great Aussie Meat Pie overcame us on a trip to Glenn Innes and we tried 2 places boasting amazing pies but they were closed and we ended up here. Very cute, traditional bakery, great classic meat mince pie. Sensational top pastry with a good but not excessive flakiness, inside consistency was ideal, no gristly bits, well seasoned, flawless. One star off due to integrity of the base of the pie however this was a small defect and overall I’d definitely eat pies from here, and highly recommend. Also the bottles of Coke were super expensive (over $5) and I thought that was a bit much but also, cost of...

Always a great place to stop in Glen Innis. They serve food like sandwiches all day not cit off at 1 or 2pm as many do. Service can be a bit slow as often they don't have enough staff. Pity to they don't often have multi grain bread for sandwiches despite being a bakery. Also great milkshakes and thick shakes as well as Batista coffee and teas with the usual selection of cold drinks in a self service fridge. An extensive range of home baked pies but unsure if the have yielded to pressure to become Ha Al certified or not. Must find out before eating any. No toilets which is strange given the...
