Ā Ā Ā Read moreMade a punt on this place as it was on our trip to qld and we were passing through at 8am in the morning and were looking for a place for coffee and breakfast. Certainly got the win here! Great coffee energetic staff the locals were even friendly saw the meals coming out and they looked really good Myself, I had the yoghurt muesli with berries and rhubarb for brekky- was so delicious! my other half had the tomatoes on toast - nice but would have loved more tomatoes: two small blistered cherry tom's isn't really enough to title the dish as such. But enjoyed it otherwise. we bought 2nd coffees as take away as the coffee was so good. It was about 9am by this stage so the place was quite busy so the wait for coffee was about 10 minutes, but we were informed, so no big deal there :). It gave us more time to check out the map on the wall. Glen Innes has a great little place here. And I did note their support for other businesses in the region (marked on the wall on the map, plus those business's produce for sale at the counter), so good to see people helping each other out. Next time travelling through GI, will try out some of their...

Whilst I take the risk of dining at restaurants where dairy is present, I think it's important for staff to inform customers of the presence of butter( milk products) on a dish labelled "vegan". As a customer you expect all elements of a dish labelled "vegan " to be vegan as people who do have allergies order vegan food to be safe. When I informed the waiter, she was lovely and removed the toast and I just assumed she would replace it with non- buttered toast, however she returned the soup without any toast. I ended up just paying the bill and leaving without...
