From the moment me and my wife walked in, we felt welcomed. The menu is a true showcase of authentic italian cuisine done right. From the starters to the mains, each plate was a work of art, both in presentation and taste, thanks to chef Nick who also made sure we were enjoying the experience. The service was impeccable, with Lorenzo, the owner, providing recommendations that enhanced the experience. His expertise in both food and wine was evident, ensuring that each dish was paired beautifully. Bar monte has, in my opinion, one of the best wine lists of the Gold coast, featuring a well-curated selection that perfectly complements the bold flavours of the food. If you‘re looking for an incredible meal paired with top-tier wines and exceptional service, bar monte is the place to go. Bar Monte is an absolute little gem in the heart of Miami. I feel that I’m transported to coastal Italy with the laid back vibe of the Goldy. My husband and I came here with our 3 month old baby which felt like no inconvenience whatsoever. The atmosphere is very comfortable and friendly, perfect for all types of occasions. Most importantly the food was outstanding.. we ordered quite a few dishes as we LOVE to eat (don’t even bother reading reviews about the food/price ratio these people are not foodies and if they want CHEAP they can go to maccas down the road!) All of the dishes were packed with flavour! We tried the scallop, calamari, burrata, anchovy toast, steak, rigatoni, chicken (so unique with the mint sauce). The size of the dishes makes sense as it’s the type of menu that you can order most things to try!!! We will be getting the seafood pasta next time! The pricing is absolutely justified and compared to similar venues in Melbourne and Sydney - shockingly good value!
