Ordered at 2pm on the website for delivery and paid extra for 15 minute delivery. Money was taken from my account and the website told me that the order couldn’t be processed. Called the store and they assured me that the pending transaction would be reversed by the bank as dominos had not received the money. I tried the website again just in case it was a one-off but same thing happened, another 30 something dollars taken from my account for one pizza. I order through Uber eats and they cancelled my order. This was now at 2:45, definitely not a busy time. I call the store and they assure me again those funds will arrive back into my account, so I order over the phone. They tell me 30-45 minutes. 3:45 rolls around and I notice a guy standing in the middle of my driveway. I walk out and have to give my card details on his personal phone (random?) to the store to pay, I get no apologies for all the money taken out of my account. At this point I have dropped $75 for one pizza, that arrives nearly 2 hours after I started to try and order. I call the store 2 days later saying that the funds never came back into my account and they tell me that they can’t give me a refund in store and I have to wait 5-10 business days (not including the weekend) to get that back AFTER they contact head office, which takes 2 days. Not the young teams fault but god what a joke just to get one pizza delivered 🤦🏼♀️ Definitely won’t make that...
Read moreAs a pizza aficionado, I’ve had my fair share of crusty encounters. Unfortunately, Domino’s has left me with a sour taste (and not just from the tomato sauce). Let’s dive into the not-so-delicious details:
The “30 Minutes or Less” Myth: ⏱️ Remember when Domino’s promised lightning-fast delivery? Well, it seems their stopwatch is broken. My pizzas arrive later than a procrastinating student submitting an essay. 🐢
Toppings MIA: 🍅🧀 I ordered a pepperoni pizza, but it looked like a sad tomato-and-cheese canvas. Where were the pepperonis? Did they play hide-and-seek with the delivery guy? 🕵️♂️
Cardboard Crust: 📦🍞 The crust—oh, the crust! It’s like chewing on a cardboard box. I’ve had more flavor from a packing peanut. Maybe they’re secretly testing a new “Eco-Friendly Edible Crust.” 🌍
Garlic Knots? More Like Garlic Not-So-Hot: 🥖❌ Those once-beloved garlic knots? Now they’re just greasy, limp excuses for breadsticks. I’d rather eat my shoelaces dipped in garlic butter. At least they’d have some texture. 👟
The Pizza Tracker: A Comedy Show: 🎭 Ah, the pizza tracker—the digital drama unfolds. It goes from “prepping” to “out for delivery” faster than a squirrel crossing the road. But when it arrives, it’s colder than my ex’s heart. 💔
Verdict: Domino’s Pizza, you’ve lost that lovin’ feeling. Maybe invest in a pizza compass or hire a crust consultant. Until then, my taste buds are...
Read moreUnfortunately I have to give one star, as you cannot post with 0 stars. This review would not be here if someone from Dominos responded to online feedback. I placed an online order with the Mudgeeraba, QLD, store at 11am on the 24/4/2022 for delivery at 6.15pm, with an order value of $103.84.
At 6.48pm I rang the store to see where the order was and this conversation ensured. "Can you please advise where my order might be?" I was asked my name and advised, and I quote, " We are very busy and have a shortage of delivery drivers", At this time the young person put me hold and came back with, and again I quote "You order will be 40 minutes to 1 1/2 hours" I said, " That is not good enough, as this order was placed at 1100 to be delivered at 6.15pm" Again I was put on hold. I was advised " Your order should be ready in about 30 minutes" My reply, "Again this is not good enough, in this circumstance I would have expected a phone call advising of any delay, and perhaps given options, e.g. cancelling the order, or picking the order up.”
My order was delivered about 25 minutes later at approximately 7.15pm.
It appeared at the time that a junior staff member was speaking to someone in "authority", and I sincerely hope the on duty managers cease hiding from customers and duck shoving the customer service problems to...
