Euro Grill & Cafe — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I’m not one to leave a review often but I’m really disappointed. The last 3 times I’ve chosen to order from here I’ve been ignored by the staff at the counter. The last two times disappointed me enough to avoid ordering completely but today I decided to give it one more try and not only was I ignored but they allowed someone to push in and order instead. There were two staff that would have seen me, I was patiently waiting for the girl at the register to be ready after taking the customer before me. He asked me if I had been served I said I was still waiting and then he proceeded to go ahead and be served. I’ve never experienced such consistent rudeness. Dropped into Euro Grill Café at Tree Tops for lunch. The experience was mostly positive, with a couple of minor letdowns.

The chicken burger was genuinely delicious – juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The coffee was also a highlight: strong, smooth, and clearly made by someone who knows their craft. Service was friendly and efficient, even with the place about half full.

On the downside, the food took about 30 minutes to come out, which felt a bit slow for a casual café. Also, the beef burger was overcooked, coming out drier than expected.

Overall, a solid café with great service and standout coffee. I’d go back – just maybe not when...

Up until today, I use to be a regular and had breakfast there every two weeks. As a creature of habit, I had avocado on toast. Today my avocado on toast was half of what is usually was, yet the price was the same. The girl behind the counter confirmed that they had made some changes. I can guarantee you none of the changes are in their customers best interest. They have in fact (on my meal) doubled the price. If they had to raise their prices due to higher costs, then why not just be honest with a sign stating that? It's not the money that annoys me, it's the slippery way they went about it.
