We were at Sharks Frenzy's for dinner last night. We'd booked over the phone last week for a table for 9 people under my partners name Ray and requested a table in the bay nearest to the buffet. ( May I add here the lady who took our phone booking was lovely )
We arrive on time, but During our meal a staff member came along and plonked a monitor on our table and with No introduction or explanation and asked how many did we book for and what name was the booking under, whats your last name, if we'd received a txt message and WHO took our phone call? The staff member made us feel as if we were making it up. We were all caught off guard. I had to ask what the problem was?
Now the problem was, there was another booking under the name Ray but somehow you couldn't seem to find our booking in the system?
Yes the staff member did offer to find us another table but why should we be moved? We were already seated and eating.
We'd made a booking we'd requested that particular area and it was no fault of ours. This was the table we were given on entry. Why didn't you Offer to find the other group a new table. Luckily most our guests were almost done eating by this point. So we left the table early.
I understand double bookings and mistakes happen but you standing Over Us with your Monitor on the end of our table drawing attention to our group was Humiliating to say the least. We did nothing wrong except choosing to come to your establishment. I really feel like this could of been handled better. Come on Sharks put better systems in place so this doesn't happen again.

Read moreDISGUSTING LYING STAFF!! SUNDAY night cantonese buffet. Ewwww, I found a loooong hair in the sweet chilli sauce. I told the person behind the counter, and asked for it to be replaced. The guy took the bowl to the corner of the back bit. He was looking around sneakily, and trying to block me with his body. I moved and saw him just poor more sauce into the bowl, and hand it back to me. I immediately fished the long hair out and said, "You just poured more sauce into the bowl, look the hair is still here. You lied didn't you, that's disgusting, go replace it." He goes out the back of the kitchen and comes back with a different bowl, yet I still suspected he just put the same sauce in a different bowl. Sure enough, I dig the spoon in and fish out the SAME llloooonnggg hair. I showed him the hair, and told him that that he was disgusting, didn't care about food safety, and that I will report them for food safety violations. I immediately stopped eating (only had two pieces of plain pizza (no non-pork options of meat), and two small strip's of chicken) for $54 dollars, due to disgusting staff hygiene. Luckily the deserts were fabulous (best selection I have ever seen), otherwise I would of asked for my money back. What a joke the above was, I still can't believe...
Read moreVery very disappointing service, as a group of 15 coming to celebrate a birthday for a 7 year old. We had 2 tables, 627 & 628 kids sat at one 2 to 7 year old 5 in total. One child meal was "missed" or so we thought. When all other meals had been delivered, we raised this with staff, staff member went away and bought a receipt back, which showed a meal other than the requested cheeseburger meal (nuggets), which said child doesn't eat... leading our daughter to believe it was the wrong receipt.So instead of sorting a meal for the child, the server went back to look for the right receipt. Another 10 mins passes GS had picked from garlic bread, chips, and other share plates purchased by the group. The server returns with a waiter holding a burger behind her and continues to argue with our daughter. By this time the child was no longer hungry and everyone else at the table had finished eating so a refund was requested instead of the meal. Which after more back and forth was granted. It should have ended there..... but no..... The servers then stood behind the servers desk located right by our tables and stood there bitching and pointing towards our daughter. Which we could see and hear. Rude & unprofessional behaviour over an $11.90...
