Grind Me Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

THIS ATTITUDE OF THE MALE OWNER OF THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING. I ordered a simple Almond milk chai latte and the girl at the counter didn't catch the almond milk part - not big deal right... WRONG! When I asked if the owner if the chai was made on almond milk he basically accused me of being wrong and that his "staff are very well trained". Who cares who is wrong or right make the chai on almond milk as the customer has requested. I told him I was so shocked how he spoke to me and he DID NOT CARE AT ALL. The attitude of this man was confrontational and rude. I have left the cafe shaking because of the encounter I have just had. I feel sorry for the lovely girls there who have to work under such an awful man. I will never step foot in this place again. If I could have rated zero stars I would have but you have to give a star to be able to write a review. I hope you learn from this Grind Me owner and learn that the way you speak to a customer who PAYS YOUR BILLS is very important not...

Firstly thank you for changing the bacon to beef. Too many GC cafes are lacking a variety in breakfast protein options. Frustrating when you think of how much more money that would bring to the venue

Now. I understand that it took a long time to find a driver today for this order. That I’ll cop. What I won’t cop is receiving stone cold fries and rock solid cold hash brown. I of course don’t expect a full new burger but it would have been a kind courtesy to have thrown a fresh batch of chips in. Especially considering we’re forced to choose large on the uber eats menu not to mention the profit margins on restaurants and their potatoes. I order a lot and frequently give 5 stars and great reviews but not today. You usually have the best chips on the coast and I’ve mentioned this in reviews.

Also note that I live close by and everything is usually very fresh. Sunday cheat...

I took my father there last week and they were incredibly accommodating to his lack of mobility needs. Taking care of him seemed enjoyable to them. 💯 Thank you so much to you all for an amazing breakfast and awesome coffee.❤️ A great morning out. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

UPDATED 26/07/25. Oh how things change. The staff were friendly enough today but the price compared to the product was totally wrong. $21.90 for Eggs Benedict was nowhere near good enough for what I was served. Bacon was $1 a piece. Add bacon = 3 pieces. SMH. Nothing else to say about the "BOTTLED" hollandaise sauce. 1 slice of partially toasted bread. Nowhere even close to the price. The dirty saucer under my mug of flat white should have been the red flag. Thanks anyway. Won't...
