Pretty Handsome Cafe? Still pretty. Still handsome. Still serving up the kind of food that makes you forget you were ever “just grabbing a quick bite.”

The new layout is a total glow-up—super welcoming, fresh vibes, and plenty of spots to park yourself with a coffee and pretend you’re working (or actually work, no judgement). It’s an easy stroll from the Burleigh Motel—just wander down Christine Ave and follow the scent of good coffee and cooler-than-you locals.

Food’s still a 10. I don’t know what magic they put in their dishes, but it works. Whether you’re after a lazy brekkie, a laptop session, or just an excuse to eat cake at 9am (respect), this place delivers.

Went for tacos on a Tuesday night: current deal is two tacos & chips for $10 + a margi for $10. Asked for no hot sauce in my tacos but ended up breathing fire. The music pumping out of there was so ridiculously loud at dinner time - I had to yell over the speakers to order… went back on Sunday for breakfast & had Korean Benny & mushroom/haloumi Benny - the portions were so large! I couldn’t finish my mushroom Benny - not much hollandaise & it was runny but otherwise good & quick service. You won’t find a menu online and the staff running the Instagram won’t help you out either. Definitely need help with their social media presence/marketing online. The prices were very decent, car parking is an actual nightmare, staff in the shop were lovely & we didn’t have an issue finding a seat either time. Coffee was good too!...

The coffee at Pretty Handsome was probably the most delish I have had. Served at the perfect temp with a rich and robust flavour started my somewhat dreary grey day with a big positive tick!! My order came out like I asked for it on the express Lane with all my quirks looked after.

Friendly and contactful these guys seem serious at providing a great experience all round. Where ever you are on the GC it will be worth the drive.

If I need to nitpick the parking is crazy here so be patient. I have a pet peeve with dull cutlery. This is totally not worth deducting anything from my well priced refreshingly awesome cafe experiencle.
