There was a sign on the register saying they appologise for the delay as they were learning new software, that's ok. After waiting for around 20 minutes another customer asked how long his order was going to be, he'd been waiting 40 minutes apparently they were out of tenders. When i ordered my meal i asked for a can of solo.I Was handed a can of pepsi, like seriously said solo 2 seconds before. Finally got my food, guess what, Fillet burger not a zinger!! Into my first bite and a customer came flying through the door yelling and dropping the f bomb about getting all the way home and got the wrong order, i don't condone the abuse but i was hearing him. Another customer sat down and i jokingly said " good luck ". Guess what?? Got small chips, not large. Ok, now my chicken that i actually saw them put in the box 10 minutes before my other food was ready was cold and i have to say was a bit suspect, was tough and smelled slightly amonia, clearly not cooked enough. I don't think thier oil is at the right temperature, it was a very light colour and very oily, the seasoning just fell off in an oily blob. There is something very amis with this place. I won't be going back as this was a case of 3rd time lucky perhaps, yes 2 other bad experiences with them. I would really considder teahing your staff better. I did tell the girl at the counter that i was given the wrong burger and offered to cook another to which i declined, she used the excuse that they were learning new software, clearly not the case because i was charged the price for a zinger...
Read moreThis was the second visit 3 weeks apart where the eftpos was not working and staff said it was cash only amd I could only use the app to order. Or alternatively use the drive thru which I couldn't as we drive a tall truck. I said could you please take my order and pay in the drive thru. I had ro speak to 3 different people before a manager would see me. When she came out I was tied she would do it this one time but was very hesitant and next time I will have to download the app. I don't eant your app as it's a waste of space for somewhere I visit less than once a month and I don't have enough space fo any more apps as it is. And I find it hard to believe that a high volume restaurant can't get a eftpos machine fixed after over 4 weeks from ANZ bank? I've managed in hospitality for 12 years and when I had a machine go down we could get a wireless replacment by a technician on the same day. No info was supplied why the machine was down just a printed piece of paper with no letterhead saying sorry cash only at front register. My order was eventually taken and paid for on the drive thru order when I said take my phone you have permission to tap it. But the attitude towards me telling me next time I have to download a app was not something I'd think you'd enforce from your management. And the visit before this one I had to wait 15 min for a take away order so I've stopped going to this kfc. Staff amd management at runaway bay seem to have poor customer...

I’m a local so I go to this kfc every time I want kfc and I kid you not, they find a way to mess it up every single time, I have never been to a more incompetent business in my life. The people working genuinely must be missing a vital part on their clearly severely underdeveloped brains to f-up that hard that often. I truely give them props on not being able to complete the simplest of tasks to a reasonable standard… like reading, speaking or listening. I only right this review because I kid you not 3 times in a row (not including every other time iv been to this kfc and they have shown complete incompetence) at this kfc my order is never correct, always missing at leased 1 thing, but if they are out of anything they will offer a replacement and also forget to put that in, customer service is guaranteed To be average on a really good day and even when I tried my hardest to make it as simple as possible for you guys due to past experiences.
