Sushi Hub Runaway Bay — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

This has been our regular sushi place for the past almost 2 years and 95% of the time they have nailed it. And especially these past two visits when we have brought our 3yo daughter with us who has life-threatening allergies . And she has eaten both times with no reactions or issues. It has been the greatest thing for us to have a safe restaurant to eat at as a family. They used a clean chopping board and knife and made sure to make her food safely and away from egg, dairy etc. (Her other allergies are peanuts and tree nuts). So, we are so pleased with their help to keep our LO safe. And we will be back! Weekly! Price is good. Also, my hubby says the takeaway hand rolls are the best he has ever eaten, with amazing variety. I definitely give 5 out 5...

This is a nicely set up sushi shop and eating place. Unfortunately the management don't want your business in house and it shows. We were told there would be no orders made to eat in and there were only five options on the conveyor belt. These were not replenished and there was no indication how long they'd been circulating as it wasn't turning over very quickly. There was a good take away range and they'd probably do better being a take away as there was no interest in the eating in area. The staff were abrupt, the tables were not wiped down and we wouldn't return. It's a shame as the place is really well set up for eat in and take...

Thought I’d check out the refurbished food court at Runaway Bay Centre and saw Sushi Hub.

The venue looked great and the food displayed beautifully looking so fresh.

The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to explain the options - sooo many options and also said I could get custom too.

The Tuna salad and crispy chicken were my favourites along with the tuna salad sandwich.

Sushi and a drink $18 - and the sushi rolls are quite large.

They have a train section opening soon - can’t wait.
