Red Apron Cafe — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Ok so went for toasted sandwich and cappuccino with my mum was 2nd time going there, we had the toastie to eat there and asked for coffee in takevaway cups,when my mum asked for a teaspoon the owner said' u have sticks to use ,there over there'mum said so I can't have a teaspoon jokingly and the lady replied, the sticks are over there..to which my mum said there to short ill burn my fingers and make a mess the lady just ignored her. i have never come across a owner so rude! And as my mum and I are local,I tell every cafe we visit of our experience to which everyone is shocked! Definitely would not recommend this Cafe perhaps if owner not working you may get a different experience...

Absolutely terrible service and very very rude. Waited 20 minutes for a coffee and toast then went to enquire at counter where I was met with an abrupt “it’s coming we’ve been busy” - then when it was brought out I was told very rudely that it was my fault for my bad time management if I was in a rush because they had other breakfasts to cook. Absolutely horrible table manners - the cafe was no where near full and they weren’t even polite when I placed my order. Will never recommend this cafe. Horrible. Btw...

Pricey. $36,97 for piece quiche with chips, small coffee small tea (ordered large) and a 43cs surcharge. Quiche old little taste strange Texture. & overcooked pie base. Chips were good. Coffee was blachhh. No one else in store, couldn't take small trolley with groceries in. Was told in very nasty tone that I was 'not (eating food from elsewhere) at my table you're not' in spite of th $36+ bill for my husband. Husband ate the food & had coffee & he said 2 stars...
