We went to this park because of access to the Nerang River. But it was such a lovely place that we had lunch and afternoon tea there. Toilets: yes, they were clean Parking: plenty of slots for a car with a trailer. A reasonable amount of parking for regular vehicles. Playground: yes. It was small, but there was enough equipment to keep most kids happy. Next to the park is a skate park, where there are older children and teens. Picnic tables: there are a few scattered around, but come early in the day if you want to snag one. Boat launch: small to medium-sized craft can get to the river here. So my day started like many others, wake up put on SpongeBob and open a family size packet of Doritos, but something was different that day. The episodes weren't that funny and the chips just didn't satisfy. I was craving something drier and cold, something that would make be feel alive. Then it hit me, it has been way to long since I bit concrete. Read moreNot a noce place to be. Always derelict people in cars. Heaps of drug paraphernalia and last time i was there I watch 2 undercover cops go through a drugged up citizens car. I wouldn't take my kids here and I sure wouldn't park my car here after launching my boat at the boay ramp.
It is ashame really because it has the potential to be an amazing family...
