I visited this restaurant with my sister, her husband and their daughter (2). We got the $94 share plate between me, my sister and my 2 year old niece, my brother in law got a 2 kebob plate with rice and we shared flat bread and a dip. The food was delicious, tender, flavoursome, couldnât fault it. The dip we got with our bread was much needed with the meat and rice, so Iâd suggest getting a share dip if youâre having kebobs, even if you donât get a bread entree. Personally, I wouldnât say the share plate was worth $94 (4 small lamb chops and 2 kebobs with rice), my sister was still hungry after it but the flavour was there and it was cooked to perfection. We all got our own desserts and every single dessert was incredible! The Shiraz cheesecake was divine, the orange cake was amazing (I donât like orange or cake but even I liked it!) but the best dessert of them all was the pistachio and lime cheesecake. I am going back just for that!! I love a good cocktail however, I had the Shiraz flower cocktail ($21 I think) and holy heck, it was like drinking perfume straight from the bottle. Iâm not sure how it was made, but I ended up making 3 drinks out of it by mixing it with creaming soda! I definitely would not recommend, but hey, if you enjoy the taste of pure gasoline, you might love it! To be fair, it was the only cocktail I tried and some of the ones I saw being served looked sooo good! My sister got a mocktail and she said hers was pretty terrible as well, she had to mix hers with soda water. Iâm not sure if this is the norm for their drinks because it was my first time there. Overall, Iâd highly recommend the restaurant. The food is cooked well, high quality and full of flavour. Yes, itâs expensive and probably shouldnât be as expensive as it is, but it was all very enjoyable. The staff were very kind and accomodating. On the particular night we went the restaurant was super busy, so service was pretty slow. But hey, it was worth the wait! (We got too excited and ate the main course and I forgot to take pics!)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shiraz Persian restaurant in GC , and it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and authentic, with beautiful decor and soft lighting. The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff who made me feel welcome and comfortable. But the real star of the show was the food. Every dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The Ash Reshte (Soup) was a highlight, delicious and tasty. The Zeytoon Parvarde (Marinated Olives) is a must to try as a side dish with your food. The main dishes were even better, Torsh Kebab was perfectly cooked Saffron rice that was fragrant and full of spices. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. There were heaps of vegetarian options which was amazing. I alas tried the Vegan Ghorme Sabzi (herbs stew with beans) which was tasty. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Persian cuisine. The food is exceptional, the service is outstanding, and the ambiance is perfect for a special night out or a dinner with friends. Don't miss out on this gem of a restaurant! And well done to the owner and the crew.

Donât get your hopes up; otherwise, youâll get disappointed! If you are like me who read the reviews and thought that is going to experience an authentic Persian restaurant near Surfer Paradise, I can say that youâre already mistaken! I have been to many Persian restaurants and this one was by far the most unauthentic Persian restaurant that I have ever been to. We ordered a Shahi kebab and Soltani Kebab, these two kebabs come with one Kobideh skew and a Barg skew respectively. Long story short, the Kobideh was overcooked and burnt and the Barg kebab was still raw inside! We expressed our disappointment to one of the staff, he admitted that this was the chef's fault; however, a few minutes later another staff came and said this was how it was supposed to be cooked! I donât know you guys but whoever has had a Persian kebab once in his lifetime, I reckon they knows that is not true. I had been less disappointed if they would acknowledge their fault rather than twisting the facts.

Excellent service. The hosts were really caring. We visited this place on a cold evening and they were kind enough to set up an extra outdoor heater for us and later move us indoors. Service was also quite fast, our food was delivered within 15 mins. Value for money is also quite good. We paid a lot less for the meal we received compared to a few other meals we had in this area. Also, I liked that they had an option to order Kebabs without rice, as not everyone likes rice and this meant that you didnât have to pay extra for the rice. We ordered, Koobideh Kebab (with extra skewer and bread only option), chicken kebab (with rice) and lamb shank with baghli pulao. I personally liked lamb shank the most as it was nicely stewed and went quite well with the pulao. Koobideh was good but not the best. Overall food will be 4-star while service is definitely 5-star. Note: Food is #Halal and they have limited parking underground.

Very busy restaurant. Very popular judging by the tables being emptied and refilled quickly. The food was delicious. Order a dish with two kebabs. Meals are generous, could only eat one kebab as well as the salad. Didn't even touch the rice, just couldn't fit it in. Took the rest home. Had a side salad which was chopped tomato and cucumber. Don't know what the dressing was but it was delicious. Was like spices in Olive Oil. We came here as we had a Good Food gift voucher for $100. Other restaurant options but choose this. Two meals, ss, mineral water and two drinks saw it come in above this. A two kebab meal is $38 to $40+ but if you're not a big eater, one kebab will do. There is parking under the restaurant with every from Fern St. You enter on the right hand side....like the USA ....weird, but follow the arrows. I would certainly eat here again but only order 1 kebab.

My husband and I came here on a Wednesday for lunch. They have some great weekly specials and Wednesday was $15 cocktails! I enjoyed a Dragon Fruit Cocktail which was visually appealing and tasted great. There is an extensive menu to suit all types of dietary requirements. As an entree we shared the Mezze Platter. This included four different dips with Turkish Bread and Persian flat bread. As a main we shared a Soltan Platter. This was 3 different skewers. Grilled prawns, minced lamb and chicken. It was served with a variety of rices. All the food was colourful, tasty and âfreshâ. It left us feeling like we had an amazing healthy meal. The staff were friendly and attentive. There is on street parking or parking available under the restaurant in the Mantra Wings Hotel. We will definitely be back and I have recommended this restaurant to our family and friends!
