Signature Cafe Coomera Westfield — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Coffee and cheesecake were nice enough but the service was very weird. I have stated at the counter I would be dining in, yet got served the cheesecake in a takeaway box with no cutlery (upon asking I was issued an awful plastic fork - weren't those a no no anyway?), and a takeaway coffee cup; which I was to take on a tray with me to the table. Had to go back and ask for cutlery and plate which were very reluctantly given. The Cafe seems to work till 5 on Saturdays according to Google/FB, and 2 lots of customers ordering right after me got a table number and proper tableware, as well as table service. As a tired pregnant gal this was honestly not a great feeling...

RESPONSE TO VENUE'S COMMENT: Thank you for your response, however unfortunately it doesn't quite reflect the situation. Not really worth the salt, but you're basically accusing me of lying so I will clarify with yawn-inducing precision. I did state I was intending to dine in when my order was taken, and then stated this not one but TWO times more - firstly when receiving the plastic cutlery, then also when coming back because the flimsy plastic fork was getting bent in the cake. I also wouldn't say a neat pile of ready to go plastic forks behind the counter was necessarily to be "searched for". It was given to me straight away; took longer to get the proper cutlery when that was finally requested. Additionally, why would you a takeaway order be placed on a tray? Initially I though maybe you were actually closing at 3 pm, in which case I wouldn't be phased having placed a daring dine in order at 2:40pm - but 2 lots of customers right after me did get me...

I visited the cafe on the 14/6/2023 and will definitely not recommend going there, I for one won’t go back again. One young lady who was making the coffees was extremely rude and never cracked a smile once. It was like she hated her job and that we were all just annoying her. This was roughly 8:30 in the morning, so I hope she reads this and tries to have a better attitude and make some positive changes to herself. I didn’t get to see her name but I’m sure if she reads this she will know it’s about her. The other two ladies were very nice but because of one bad experience with that one person I will not revisit. Very poor...

This cafe is amazing. The coffee is great. One time i got a cute panda on top and was blown away. The food is great. They have a large selection of gluten free options that dont taste like a cardboard box. Yay!!!! They are perfect to take your kids to as cute options for them also. One time we got a plate of decorations for my daughter to decorate her cup cake. So cute. Their attention to detail is impecible. The thing that draws us back is their service. The owners are so lovely and go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your experience. The best service i have ever had and is always consistant.Love...
