We had booked for 8 people a few weeks in advance. We arrived around 6pm and our group were the only people there. Staff had to make our table before we could sit as it wasn't ready. We then had to ask to have the table cleaned. The person who came to clean it (blonde) said rudely "Next time, we would appreciate it if you could let us know you were coming".
Normally I would walk out at this point, but as we were there for an occasion with other people, it would've ruined it for everyone else. We told her we had a booking, but she didn't know anything about it and said there was nothing in the system. This is despite us having received emails confirming the booking and us calling a couple of times on different days to confirm seating. Regardless, this is still a poor way to address customers.
Although we were the only people there, the place was very noisy. The entire (considerable) time we were waiting for the food, I witnessed one person (the only "adult") making the food, while another just stood with her back against the wall on her phone most of the time. Another two were eating (meals) and drinking around the preparation bench. It's fine for staff to have meal breaks, but this shouldn't be in full view of customers, especially in a food preparation area. Use the crib room. This is just extremely unprofessional, if not probably against some hygiene rules.
The food, although overpriced, tasted good. Nobody at the table had a complaint about the taste of the food.

Today, my wife visited with her friend, to which the staff were battling a technical issue with the POS system. No worries, cash is easy. It was not busy there at this time.
They were seated at a table covered in syrup and melted ice cream and informed a staff member would come to take their order soon.
40 minutes passed and they had to flag a staff member down, who btw had the top speed of paint drying to remember to take their order. They told her exactly what they had tried to order using the online order, which failed and the staff wrote it down on a piece of receipt paper.
She went to leave and had to be reminded to take the friends order as well. And also to please wipe the table down.
Staff member walks afterwards and....nothing happens. Table, still dirty. Drinks, nowhere olto be seen. Food.... merely a theory at this point. They wait about 40 mins and go to check on the order.
The staff have no clue where the order is. After much faffing about,they find that somehow, the order never made it from the table, to the kitchen.
There was no apology, no offer to " do your order right now!", no attempt to resolve this clearly major stuff up.
The staff member DID offer, "we can put your order in the queue now...or you can just leave if you want"...
They left.
I just fail to understand how.a Venue, that used to be so good. Quick, great service, brilliant food can also be so...red hot garbage depending on what day you go.

Very heavily staffed, and not overly busy, I found the staff to be rude, unhelpful and lazy with taking nearly an hour for us to get our order and the restaurant wasn't even busy. With kitchen and servers messing up our orders and being very unapologetic about their mistakes. It had loud irritable non calming music. Seemed over staffed with lazy rude males who were, unfriendly, slow and looked bored and wished they weren't there. No customer service at all, and no care or attention. It was not an enjoyable experiece in Brisbane. I will never go to The South Brisbane Miss Claudes again!!! Not a relaxing environment at all.
