Normally sushi train is our go to place for dinner, tonight we werenât off to a very good start we had to wait 15 minutes for a table (thatâs fine) however the problem was we were seated at a tiny 2 seater booth when there was 2 adults and a child. The male waitress was expecting the child to sit in a high chair. Heâs 5âŚ. So unfortunately instead of waiting even longer for a more accomodating booth we squished in together with barely any arm room to eat dinner. The food was fantastic until we got to our last plate. I ordered a plate of calamari and when the chef handed it to us I was baffled. There was a few strands of long brown hair wrapped around the calamari, it basically looked as if it was cooked in with the batter. The male chef had long brown hair. When we brought up the issue with one of the male waitresses he just responded with âohâ no sorry or anything and proceeded to drop the calamari on the floor. After that we were completely turned off the food and left still feeling hungryâŚThe only person who apologised was a lovely girl who rung up our order. Sushi train use to be such a great place, with great customer service but now they expect everyone to order using a qr code. We are a family who prefer not to use devices at dinner and it was disappointing to not have a single person come up to us and ask if weâd like to...

Lastly I asked for chicken avocado roll off the train but the plate I received was very old, I could tell by the chicken and it was an extremely small slice of chicken though out, I asked the lady severing us for a different plate as this one was old and hardly any chicken. Weâre talk like a tiny slice, and one had just the crust of the chicken snitchel.
What was displeasing was instead of just getting a different place she walked over to two other workers talking for a couple of minutes and I grew impatient and said not to worry Iâll get something else off the train. I asked for two desserts for me and my friend. She went a got them but took a long time even though there was only four other booths used (not busy at all)
Sushi train serves the best sushi in my opinion, but this was the only time Iâve been disappointed with...

Went for sushi, was greeted quite well, canât complain about customer service it was pretty welcoming, shouldâve known from the start, but why was there no customers but myself in the restaurant at 3pm after school hours?Anyways⌠FOOD was absolutely ridiculous. Felt like I was eating it raw straight from the refrigerator, so cold, so flavourless, so soggy. Just curious, was the sushi left on the train since yesterday? Eitherwise, I wasted $5 per plate. Wouldnât recommend if youâre after fresh solid sushi. Cool Japanese dudes...
