Tamero — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

We made a booking a few days ago for a 7pm booking Christmas Eve for 7 people. We arrived on time and were seated at our table and drinks ordered and brought to the table. So by this stage we have been there at least 15 minutes, ready to order our meals, we’re all starving (3 kids included). Then the waitress comes to our table and informs us that we can only have 4 Pizzas between 7 of us. Because they have run out of dough. The reason given was because they are only open 1 day the rest of the week so they didn’t make extra dough. As someone who has worked in hospitality for over 20 years I’m dumbfounded as to how this is allowed to happen? It’s Pizza Dough guys. This is your only menu option. You can’t lose out too much can you if you made extra dough just in case you had a really busy night? You’ve got a gorgeous restaurant and the pizzas looked amazing. Absolutely incredible. We attended for a birthday dinner for my parents. The atmosphere is a very broad stroke. Suitable for the more mature restaurant crowd, but also perfect for a younger crew that were more cocktail focused. The young girl who served us was beautiful. We genuinely felt that she was invested in our experience. Checking how we were, asking how our food was, and advising on our orders. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and very kind. The food! The food was exactly like the reviews. Fresh, tasty, great temperature, and well presented. The entire meal was also very reasonably priced. We had a lovely experience at Tamero! The atmosphere is vibrant and cozy, with great music and stylish decor. The food was delicious !!! fresh ingredients, generous portions, and beautifully presented. I especially recommend the pasta dishes!

One of the things we appreciated the most is that children are welcome. It's not always easy to find places that are both trendy and kid-friendly, but Tamero strikes the perfect balance. The staff were very kind and accommodating, even with little ones around.
