Thaiger Dine In & Takeaway — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Had the pleasure of visiting this new business Wednesday 6th March 2024 (It’s only been open for approx 1 month). What an absolute treat! We were in a party of 4 and everyone of us were impressed with the atmosphere, food, prices and staff.

The decor was fresh, bright & simple. The restaurant was very clean & uncluttered. Furniture was simple, practical and comfortable.

The waitress who greeted us was so friendly & welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Throughout the meal she was attentive, was pleasant and had a happy disposition at all times.

The food was utterly delicious. Fresh, tasty, fragrant & cooked to perfection. Especially wonderful for me as I can’t tolerate spices or chilli. For starters we shared the best spring rolls ever (might be a serve each next time because they were so delicious)! Main for me was Chicken cooked with Lemongrass, hubby had Prawn Omelette, excellent. It was literally like being transported back to Thailand, enjoying the freshly cooked food we experienced there. The servings were generous, the prices were very reasonable & it’s BYO.

The young couple running the restaurant should be very proud of themselves. It’s definitely family friendly, their baby joined them which I think is awesome (he has his own room so Mum and Dad can work but be on hand to care for his needs).

Have just returned home from dinner with friends at Thaiger, and couldn’t wait to share our experience. All four of us were SO impressed with this new restaurant! The young couple running it and the young lady serving couldn’t have been more welcoming & friendly. The food is absolutely fabulous! So fresh. So tasty. Best curry puffs starter and Tom Yum mains ever! Massaman beef curry was so tasty & the meat so tender. Spring rolls that my friends said were the best they’ve ever had. Fantastic prawn omelette, and my friend who can’t do chili / spices was very graciously accommodated - she so happy with her chicken dish. The servings are generous & the prices very reasonable. BYO as well, so it was a perfect night for us and we’ll certainly be going back there again. Extremely pleased with my first meal from here, I got a take away, so I'm unable to rate the atmosphere at the moment, but the small place was full of diners when I arrived. So many locals were talking about it, and I love Thai food, and I agree with all the positive reviews. Im so glad to have a new restaurant close to home instead of fast food. It was delicious and ready when they advised, on what seemed a busy Friday night. I ordered: Massaman Beef Bao Panang Curry (Beef, medium heat) Satay Chicken Jasmine Rice Good sizes, delicious flavor, well priced, meat was all really nice.
