Woodside Pizza — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

They accidentally gave us chicken wings with our pizza and we excitedly thought it was a little bonus since we had ordered so many entres and pizzas…I said “ooh! Thank you!” When the unexpected wings arrived. They then came back out ~5 min later and said you didn’t order those and then took them back.

I’m used to places giving a little extra when you order a lot so didn’t expect them to take them back.

I hope they didn’t serve them to someone else as they were on our table for at least 5 min.

Tbh I wouldn’t go back. The pizza was ok but there is better wood fired pizza just up the road. The wings looked delicious but they were taken away before I had a chance to try them.

If they had given us the wings at least they would have points for service but 2/5 is generous for the service...

Absolutely Amazing! Ate here by chance after domino's 2nd unannounced closing this week, and couldn't have been happier with what we got. We had a Mediterranean, T-Rex, and a Garlic Chilli Prawn, the pizzas are amazingly priced and are made with fresh dough and ample toppings while not being boatloaded with cheese and ham. The pizzas weren't dry at all and had an amazing taste and texture for every pizza we had and the toppings are all fresh and a lot better than some places that skimp on ingredients. Will absolutely not be going back to dominos, and will be coming back to eat at...

I have ordered Meatlovers takeaway Pizza for many years and have always enjoyed them. With changes of ownership, menus, and staff I still come back each Sunday. One change that shows up on my photo is that the outside crust is now thicker than previously and the base, thinner which I don't see as improvements. It is now difficult to handle a slice as the end drops allowing the topping to fall off. As a positive, a new sauce adds to the flavor. Elaine should be commended for her customer service.
