Empire Takeaway — Restaurant in Goulburn

Was out in Goulburn doing my last delivery 🚚 run next door and had noticed this old school take away joint. Was bloody starving and ordered a classic $8 burger with BBQ sauce, oh man! It took me back to my childhood in the 80s and early 90s in Surry Hills, Sydney, where they had a similar store and the burger tasted exactly the same, nostalgia flooded back and the memory of that exact great taste! 😋 Will definitely be back...

I have no idea how this place got such a high rating. Was sorely dissapointed. My chicken burger was a giant nugget flattened and fried that didn't even taste like chicken, was wishing I went to McDonalds. My partner got the beef burger and couldn't even eat it as it tasted like 'blended cardboard and gym mats'. Was the worst take away burger ever had and would not recommend this place to stray dogs let...

Had a stopover on the way to Victoria and was glad to have grabbed some take away from here. The Calamari was really nice and big, the chips weren't too oily or dry and the service was great.
