To be fair I can honestly say I would give this shop 5 stars.... 5 stars for the terrible customer service, presentation and poor quality of food.
I was barked at by the female behind the counter as I was rushed through my order in a quiet shop. Maybe she can smile and be polite and helpful to what you can see is a new customer to the store. I ordered half a chicken, chips and salad and 2 cans of drinks. The total came to $29.90
Once seated at a table the food arrived quickly.... and looked as though it was thrown on a plate which was thrown across the table. The salad was quick to be thrown behind the chicken and chips. Two sets of cutlery was also brought to the table.... no additional plate when you can see this was going to be shared by two people. The yellow chips did absolutely nothing for me and I am a huge chip lover. The chicken that was dumped on the plate and was grey. I took one look at it and refused to touch the chicken because I questioned if I was going to be sick eating it.
The spinach and pumpkin salad looked as though was going to be the only thing I was able to eat.... how was I wrong on this. The pumpkin pieces were of various sizes and not cooked properly due to the inconsistent sizing. The dressing was by far the worst I have ever tasted. With each bite I was trying not to throw up.
When we brought it to the attention of the staff they became rude and arrogant and informed me the salad is their best seller. After reading reviews here I see that they lied.
In future I would rather get myself a chicken and salad from Coles or Woollies and a drink... it would be far better quality then whatever they served up today and would of cost me half the price. $29.90 and came home starving and feeling sick.. I would never recommend this to anyone... they may have chance at branching out and serving food at Goulburn Jail... but then again I'm starting to think that even the prisoners don't deserve this...

Flavours feel like they're lacking a potency which entices me to eat. Such as the Thai rice salad and it's very zesty flavour, but boring taste. Perhaps too much zest?
Not sure about why, but there was olives with pits in them and I can't imagine a good reason why. This salad tasted fresh, but lacked some sort of dressing to bind it all.
The pumpkin & spinach salad left me with the bad taste of uneven and sometimes oversized pumpkin. It was hard in the middle and with little to no resounding taste. The spinach had a softness from swelling in the juices, though it tasted true.
I found the chicken quarter that was given to me was certainly not moist, nor dry. I find that it's incredibly hard to cook a chicken breast well in the first place.
Finally, the service was adequate. Friendly greeting with little explaining of how my dish would be prepared and made for the dine in version. I was told, after a little confusion, that the small sized salad containers, would be the amount that is put on the plate. No smiling or cheeriess from the male employee, though the woman was very smiley to see me off after I thanked her...
Read moreCame in for breakfast before a 7 hour trip and was severely disappointed on all accounts. We ordered 3 meals for breakfast. Eggs, bacon & toast. Eggs Benedict and the pancakes.
From the time that we ordered to the time that we received our meals was an hour, and yes, we counted.
The eggs and bacon had tomato, which we specifically asked for no tomato, had tomato and was barely warm.
The Eggs Benedict with "bernaise sauce" was, in fact, not bernaise sauce at all and coagulated quickly into a solid mass of what tasted like pure butter before my mother could even finish her second piece of toast.
And the pancakes I got cooled before I could finish the second slice. I also wouldn't call them pancakes as they were more like crepes, but too gummy for my tastes.
I'm sorry but I don't think my family and I will be back for a long time. The new owners really need to step up their game if they want to continue running the place in an...
