Ordered the pancakes with fresh strawberries for myself and my daughter, plus a baby chino for my daughter as well. They shouldn’t advertise it online or on their menu as pancakes with fresh strawberries as it was neither fresh or strawberries. It was 4 thick pancakes but came with not enough maple syrup so it was super dry and bland, and there was no strawberries (even though the name of the item is pancakes with fresh strawberries) it came with frozen berries probably straight out of a packet from Woolies. Plus my daughters baby chino had barely an inch of milk, was all foam and so she barely had any of it. Edit: as we were leaving I mentioned to the waiter it would be good if they let people know when they order that it doesn’t have what they’re asking for. Then the manager came over as we were halfway out, was rude to us saying they don’t know when they don’t have any, and I just said they should just let people know as they’re ordering that, probably won’t come back just from how rude she was about someone not being happy with their order.

Ordered a flat grill with salad for $18, and added chips to the order for an extra $3, and when it came to the table, I was dumbfounded by the small serving of salad and chips. I spoke to the trainee waiter, and explained that I was unhappy with how little food there was on the plate, and he took the plate away, only to return and tell me that he was being pushed into telling me that this was standard and I have to accept it. I am so disappointed with this experience and the staff should be better with their customer service. All respect to the trainee for doing his best, I feel bad for him that he works a bad company. Edit: after having this experience, upon leaving the manger (I’m assuming) was very rude to my friend and I about our orders (scroll further for her experience with the pancakes)

Called in for a morning snack and coffee. Asked for an almond croissant. Was asked if I would like it toasted, I replied I’d like it warmed up. It came out very hot, however the almond paste inside was almost frozen! I returned it for a refund which was provided fairly ungraciously. The coffee cup was stained from previous use, and was presented poorly. Sub standard for a ‘trained’ Barista.

Over the past few months each time I have been to Coffee Club Stathpine Shopping Centre and each time there has always been an issue with my order. Today was the pitts our group will not be back again. We ordered 1 serve cibatta toast with fresh advo, this was ok (but not fresh advo). The other order was chicken and camenbert flat bread cut in 1/4s on 2 plates we waited 30mins and no sandwich, when I went and asked you could tell they had forgotten it and we then had to wait another 10mins for it to arrive. The manager offered us 1 desert for 3 of us to share or another drink neither of these options were acceptable to us and we could not get a credit for a future visit. At no stage were we offered our money back. The tea and flat white was great but my 1/2 strength latte was barely warm I sent it back and it was returned as a full strength latte so when the stuff up happened with the flatbread I was not going to chance sending my coffee back a second time. The owner is also part owner with of the Coffee Club Gympie Rd Strathpine and also Warner which are both far superior to the one at Strathpine Shopping Centre these 2 will now be our permanent...

Ordered two drinks took 20 minutes before the staff told us that they didn’t have ice after being on the mobile and unloading the dishwasher instead of making the drinks. We asked for a refund and she then couldn’t process the refund and had no money in the till so she asked us to come back when the manager was there. We went back and the manager was so incredibly rude! She didn’t look at us or acknowledge us in any way and when my husband asked if she was aware of the situation she told him rudely “yes I’m processing your refund for you now mate” it was so condescending. He then said it would of been nice for her to acknowledge us or at least look at us and she said “well I’ve come In on my day off” he said he didn’t care it was her day off and tried to explain what had happened. She spoke over him and said “well you don’t care it’s my day off and I don’t care about you”. She then turned away from him and refused to talk any more. This manager is in the wrong role. She needs conflict resolution support and at least be taught how to be friendly to customers and she just could not of cared less. Avoid this coffee club...
