Burrito Bar Strathpine — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

My wife and I dropped in for a late afternoon lunch, first time visiting this venue, having been to a different Burrito Bar a few times and having a good experience.

We were the only ones dining at the time, as it was between lunch & dinner. We were served by an Indian lady, who very clearly did not want to be there. Ordered a Burrito on its own & Enchilada in the meal, $38.95 to my surprise. I later realised that when my wife ordered the Burrito, the lady had said do you want sour cream and guacamole, to which my wife said sure and was charged for it. Not a mention of additional cost, which I also wasn’t able to find on the menu anywhere. $2 for guac, $1 for sour cream. Felt like a scammy upsell the way she had offered it. This I would accept if the service wasn’t the absolute worst I have experienced in hundreds of times dining out, along with average food.

The woman moved with zero enthusiasm when moving around the venue and bringing us our food. Not to mention the sneakers and tracksuit pants are a bit casual. Zero pleasantries, I wondered if it was even possible she could crack a smile. Quite honestly the worst servant I have ever seen in a dine-in / takeaway venue, undeserving of our business.

The food was average, the burrito was soggy and fell apart.

Highly recommend passing on this venue unless something is to drastically change, especially given the meals are...

Right next door to kickin innis where all you can smell is that beautiful seafood overpowering the restaurants on either side burrito barr was empty at the time of my little families arrival which was a shame because boy did they bring there A-game to the young gentleman in the back you were born to cook brother to also impress a pregnant woman is an accomplishment give yourself a pat on the back to the young lady that took our order the professionalism you displayed has definitely set the bar Also to the young lady cleaning your parents taught you very well the place was so clean it was like walking into a different type of clean air nooowwww the food words don't really compare to the amount of effort and care that went into this meal I had the rack of ribs which slide off the bone and the flavour had lit my soul alight my tastebuds were firing on all cylinders trying to comprehend how the simplicity of those ribs had so much power then onto the three soft tacos with steak, chicken, and brisket all three with a unique flavour of their own felt like I was sitting in a little slice of paradise in Mexico indulging in the best of their culture can't wait to come back thank you for the experience something to behold...

I order two full rack ribs, 1 bbq and 1 spicy stinger. They arrived but both bbq and it cost quite a lot and I wanted my correct order and Menulog suggested I call the store to get my order corrected. I wasn’t going to be to upset if they couldn’t fix it…until they laughed at me over the phone and started being extremely rude and then asked if I could come pick it up, which wouldn’t be a problem except I had to pay for additional fees for an Uber there and back even though I had PAYED TO HAVE IT DELIVERED! Not only this but when I got there the child that handed it to me told me to just get Menulog to give me the refund because they found it inconvenient that they already bagged two and now have to make another. Are you kidding me rn, you wouldn’t have to make another if you made the order right. I work in hospitality and if I made something wrong and a customer wants their order corrected the least I can do is remake it for them. If you cannot take responsibility for your mistake quit, mind you when I got there I wasn’t the only customer that wasn’t happy with them.
