The Yiros Shop - Morayfield — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

You know this is really terrible, twice below I have submitted my experience to the CONTACT US page on the website to be discreet as this is a new business in Morayfield. I haven’t had one single acknowledgement. Not one. But I see from reading reviews of the store and food etc. Only ‘positive’ reviews get responded too. Got it.

I resubmit my experience as of Monday 24/07/2023 @19:07pm which has not garnered a single response.

MORAYFIELD LOCATION: we were soo excited from watching the refurb of this store from smoothie bar to Greek Food. Went tonight, through the drive through appreciated prompt polite service. Ordered Traditional beef yiros as medium meal $19 and some change. Drive across the road to fuel up vehicle reached into the bag to find Luke warm to cold chips, the yiros was the same, we drive right back over to the drive through handed back the chips but then felt embarrassed to give the yiros and also didn’t want someone to spit it worse to a remade one. The chips in the yiros were like warm to cold, the beef kofta hard and could have been warm to cold ( wondered if this was a frozen microwave job or just a past cooked kofta that needed a yiros to go in from hours ago. Mine was without tomato but with extra Tzaszeki they did that part well with the sauce but that’s where it all ended. I was expecting lovely hot fresh flavoursome food. Instead meet with cold stodgy something. I did get fresh hot chips, The disappointment was already set though. I have to admit, i couldn’t eat well after that. Picked a couple of chips but that was it. My partner has offered to take me again to give the restaurant a second chance so we can see how they cook. Let’s say I’m reluctant. Not sure if this is the same as the one on the Gold Coast because that one was amazing and soo fresh and hot. This one in Morayfield...

Lastnight it was my son's birthday. We gave him the choice of any dinner he wanted. He chose Yiros. What a disappointment. Firstly, to order online we had to order through the app. After downloading and ordering my son kept receiving an error message. So I tried, no luck. This has already consumed much time so I rang the shop. The automated message kept trying to refer back to the app or press 1 to speak with someone. I did this and was told my place in the queue then it hung up. I rang back and it did it again. So we've already wasted about 40mins. We drove 30mins to get to the shop to find four girls standing around talking to each other. I asked if they are quiet, to which they said yes. I explained what happened and one girl laughed. I asked for a manager. No manager. So we lost 2hrs of time that I would have preferred to have with my son. Fortunately the yiros...

I have visited twice now & TWICE bitterly disappointed.

The first time over the weekend. It wasn’t busy it was so hard to hear and understand the server through the speaker box. He wasn’t a great communicator it was the most awkward experience I’ve ever had at a drive through.

Secondary the order was incorrect also- a whole item I asked for missing entirely (I got a receipt and checked) then get home and a hash brown was missing also.

TODAY, better service from a girl, how ever riddled with mistakes ALSO..

No chips as a part of my “meal” - and the LOUKOUMADES..I ordered honey as displayed on the boxes docket it said honey but they were VERY clearly cinnamon. $33 for a meal without my chips and an additional mistake is beyond disappointing. Especially when both times it was not busy.. you guys need to focus a bit more here. Purely on these accounts I won’t be...
