This Bombay Bliss can be really hit and miss with the quality and service. Last time the scant kofta and paneer were swimming in their respective underflavoured sauces, the time before that the sauces were thick and tasty with a good quantity of star ingredients. There is also the issue of items often not being available, easy to get around if you aren't limited to a certain section of the menu (if you don't have it, don't offer it).
It is difficult to get the attention of the wait staff when trying to place an initial order too, this is when there were no other guests seated in the restaurant. It is also hard to get her attention at later stages too (ordering additional naan, wanting to pay, etc). Additionally, there must be communication issues between the wait staff and the kitchen staff because when a customer orders specific items (surprise) that are on the menu, there's the expectation that these items will be prepared if they are available. But then for final bill to have the omitted items listed with the expectation that the customer will still be paying for them certainly leaves a poor taste in our mouths.
Previously I would have given 5 stars, but each dining experience deteriorates. We'll be persisting with Beerwah's Bombay Bliss for hopefully special occasions, because Morayfield/ Caboolture just can't seem to get consistently good Indian...
Read moreThe Indian food I had was an absolute treat for my taste buds. Every dish was a celebration of rich flavors, vibrant spices, and culinary tradition. The appetizers were incredible—crispy samosas with a perfectly spiced potato filling and a tangy tamarind chutney that added a burst of flavor.
The main course was the highlight of the meal. The butter chicken was velvety smooth, with tender, juicy chicken simmered in a creamy tomato-based sauce. The paneer tikka masala was equally divine, with soft paneer cubes in a spiced gravy that paired beautifully with fluffy, fragrant basmati rice and freshly baked garlic naan.
What truly stood out was the attention to detail in every dish. The flavors were perfectly balanced—not too spicy but with enough heat to make it authentic and satisfying. The variety of vegetarian options, such as the aloo gobi and dal makhani, were just as flavorful and hearty as the meat dishes.
For dessert, I indulged in gulab jamun, which was warm, soft, and soaked in a delicately flavored syrup. It was the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal.
Overall, the experience was exceptional. The food was authentic, beautifully presented, and prepared with love and care. It’s a must-try for anyone who appreciates the depth and diversity of...
Read moreWe were a group of 11 Waitress had really bad B.O. and not very friendly. eg. they bring food out without saying anything. They would get away with that behaviour just once at my restaurant, diners need to feel welcomed by cheerful and smiling waiters. Tables were sticky. Chairs were sticky Highchair is damaged to where it has no strap to go between the legs to clip onto shoulder straps, which meant our 1 year old would slide through, so we couldn't use it. After we all ordered, (including our OWN specific entrees) they bring out the entrees mixed up and scatter them throughout the table, as if we ordered entrees to share. This was ridiculous. Large rice was very much smaller than the takeaway size, (which we were used to) and really only enough for one person. My wife had to go and get her own coke from the fridge. Had to ask for wine glasses, despite the wine bottles being on the table and not invisible. Mango Lassi was really low on flavour, compared to how it has been in the past. The food was good though... so, best stick to take-away. We all agreed that we won't be dining in...
