Went to Coffee Club for brunch on Sunday, very few people in the cafe. Ordered brunch which came to $49.50 with coffee. No conversations took place regarding wait time. After 20 mins I had the gall to ask how our meals were going, I was told the toast was being buttered and I was shown the toast. I queried the wait and was told that a phone order came in before we did and therefore we had to wait. The above mentioned toast was in fact for the phone order table. after a further ten (10) minutes I dared to question again and I was told one of the meals was ready and it was put on the servery, no mention of the other meal. It was obvious the conversation was getting tense so I elected to leave the Coffee Club and walk away from my meals. I voiced my dissatisfaction via internal feedback with the coffee club and received further mis-truths from a lady who responded to my feedback. It turns out she was in the party with the phone order along with family and friends as she frequently walked in and out of the kitchen obviously organising their and her meals. To receive poor service is one thing, to be treated poorly by staff members and then to have mis-truths created to protect their position on the matter is deplorable to say the least. To make matters worse, I contacted head office of the Coffee Club to discuss the situation and as of yet received no reply. Incidentally after leaving we went to the Black Bear Cafe and received great service, coupled with excellent service and were on our way...
Read moreNot sure if it’s the restaurant at fault or the Uber driver. But I ordered breakfast through Uber but when I received it I was missing a whole meal and add ons.
I immediately tried contacting the store just to be like Hey if my missing food is still there I am happy to come pick it up if they could make a fresh batch. However, the store has a disconnected phone number so the store cannot be contacted at all and I tried with 4 phones even a landline. If they do have a working phone, then it would be nice if someone can update google and their website.
This store has gone downhill the last year or so, so not sure if management has changed but definitely the quality of food has gone down.
I personally prefer going to the Burpengary Coffee Club.
I don’t want anything it return for this post because I was able to get a refund through Uber as I had proof of multiple missing items.
But for anyone considering to do online delivery or even pick ups. Just note the store doesn’t have a phone line that is connected to the store. So you’ll have a risk of incorrect orders and no way to contact the store unless you drive all the way back physically.
After this experience, please note this is the second time I’ve tried contacting the store for food issues within a year. I’ll be sticking to the Burpengary...
Read moreHad lunch there today and it cost $30.00 for chips/nuggets, 1 milkshake & 1 kids milkshake. The girl serving did not smile and didn’t seem to want to be there, very rude. I received a warm milkshake and when asked for a cold one it was slightly better and the girl seemed to be annoyed. The milk was actual room temperature and was shocked to think this is their standard considering also that it was $8 and in a small glass. There seemed to be No aircon working and thought they could at least have a couple of fans to compensate. The floor and tables were dirty where we sat. There was 2 staff front of house and 2 out the back, it was 1pm and not busy at all so our food came out at a good pace but we asked if we could change the bowl of tomato sauce for another gravy and was then told she couldn’t do that or it will be an additional cost. We declined as the gravy was 95% water, runny and no flavour. The whole experience from start to finish was disappointing to say the least. We finished up and went to leave and the girl that had served us earlier swooped in to clean our table without saying goodbye. Safe to say We won’t be going to A...
