First time in Hamilton Island from Victoria, went to the cafe this morning to have breakfast. Service at front counter was great! Lovely young lady that served us was really nice. However, when needed to sit down all tables were really dirty and some had no cutlery available. When our drinks have been given to us the waitress just handed them over and started to walk off, there was no “I’ll wipe your table for you in a minute” so I excused myself to ask if she could wipe the table down and if we could get some cutlery, which is the bare minimum, she comes back to wipe the table and said “you could just take cutlery from other tables” and just slams the box of cutlery on our table. Okay? 🙄 we come from a state where customer service is literally everything, going on an island where you pay so much money towards food and asking for a bare minimum is too much apparently… its really disappointing. Otherwise, food overall is great, however, salmon tasted like it has been frozen for days and just heated up. Everything else is great, but seafood is a...

The Marina Café on Hamilton Island is a delightful spot situated right on the main shopping strip, offering both indoor and outdoor seating with stunning views of the marina. While the menu features typical café fare, prices are understandably higher given the island's location. We've dined here several times, and the quality has remained consistently impressive. Our go-to orders are the fresh juices and the eggs Benedict, which can be enjoyed with either salmon or bacon. Although the menu includes a variety of breakfast and lunch options, we often stick to our favorites. The staff are always friendly and engaging, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Just a tip: arrive early, as some dishes tend to run out later in the day. Overall we obviously enjoy the vibe and continue to return. So it's...

Absolutely delicious food & the loveliest spot for breakfast with a view. I have to mention one staff member in particular - Naomi, for making our experience in the cafe a brilliant one. We were concerned about dietaries as my son has severe allergies but she took her time explaining the menu to us and double checked with the chefs for our peace of mind. We didn’t feel rushed when ordering and we felt really well attended to. She was warm & friendly and really seemed to care about her customers which isn’t always the case when eating out especially having dietary requirements. We went back to eat here numerous times on our stay for this reason and was welcomed back each day with a smile, she even remembered us from the first day! The food & drinks were...

Definitely the ONLY place on the island for a classic breakfast meal + coffee. Coffee on the island just straight up average, so don’t come expecting the best flatty in your life. Food was EXPENSIVE!! $28 for a avo toast - ouch! It was good but very average, it would be expensive to feed you family out on holidays everyday!! My husband got the bacon and egg roll and was very disappointed. It lacked sauce and the egg was very overcooked absolutely not worth $16! We stayed 2 days on the island but if we were here any longer I would just make our own food daily.

We went to the Marina Cafe a couple times during our stay and, overall, we were happy with our experience there. The sandwiches were pretty good and, with the salad of the day, they were great options when we didn’t want to spend too much for lunch but still have a satisfying meal! I would recommend coming for their sandwiches and salad of the day (which can be found at the counter), but not that much for their menu items. We ordered the Fattoush salad and, while it was tasty, it was quite pricey for what it was. And the portion was small.
