This is the third time we've been here. Ran into it almost by accident on our regular Adelaide-Melbourne trip and WOW we are impressed. Now we book so we can be sure we've got a table mid-journey. First, the food.... omg.... the scallops, the beurre blanc fish. Oysters, perfect. I had the Bouillabaisse last time, amazing. Jo, our hostess has been so good, always concerned about our meals and experience. And the history of the venue just adds that extra touch of authenticity in a world of ho-hum country venues. Great wine list. We're not meat eaters, but the selection of steaks looks pretty amazing. ...

I would like to personally thank Joe and the rest of her team, who delivered an absolutely outstanding dining experience last night celebrating my mother's 80th birthday with a number of severe food allergies to take on board (2 x Coeliac's and nut allergy). They certainly went above and beyond to assure care was taken to prepare and present our meals last night and because of this we did not have after effects today. This is certainly the biggest thank you that I can provide you. Please keep up the fine work and if and when we return we will definately look for this place for another...

This restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. Without a doubt, it served the best chicken schnitzel meal I’ve ever had. Every component – from the crispy, perfectly seasoned schnitzel to the golden fries, rich gravy, and fresh, crunchy coleslaw – was spot on.

The schnitzel was cooked to perfection with a satisfying crunch in every bite, and the coleslaw added a refreshing balance to the dish.
