ROLL vs BOWL Hillarys — Restaurant in Hillarys

Didn't feel like a heavy meal but still wanted something interesting.

Chanced upon this spot located just next to the Jarrah Bat and Cafe.

The ladies serving here are absolutely lovely, serving with a huge smile and patience.

This is a sister outlet to the one in Coventry Village of the same name.

Roast Pork Bahn Mi - the bun was toasted very well, moist inside, the roast pork had a super crunch crackle and moist meat.

Grilled beef bahn mi - again buns toasted very well. Beef was slicked quite thickly like a minute steak for a steak sandwich, sauce was very tasty.

The pickled vegetables in the bahn mi were very tasty & added to the great eating of these rolls.

Ordered a Vietnamese Coffee as a drink and this was very rich and flavourful!

They even had some tables a.d chairs sit down at.

A nice spot for a simple & delicious budget friendly bite.

I am a simple Man, I don't eat alot. Especially not much cooked foods, or meats. I don't eat bread etc.

I walked past today, asked to buy one piece of meat out of one of these trays.

A little something cooked, instead of me waiting till I got home to eat raw, or nuts and my normal meals.

A treat.

They would rather make no money, have the meat probably cooked this morning dry out more than it is.

Ordered beef, chicken & roast pork bunn mi but they got our orders wrong, even after waiting for approximately 15 mins (not peak time). Labeled beef but didn't get our beef. Took it back to show the lady, who claimed she was the 1 who made the bunn mi, so she'll know.. well, obviously she don't! Instead of rectifying the mistake, she actually 'accused' us for changing our mind. In the end, paid for beef but got another chicken.
