This is the best Italian restaurant we have been to in Hobart. And it was the perfect way to end our visit to Tassie. The service from staff here is fantastic: Friendly, welcoming, showing interest in how our day was, coming over at the perfect times, and always so professional. The food was amazing: Taste, portion size & the time it came out. Tried the Carbonara fettuccine and regular size bbq pizza which was the perfect size for 2 people and had a great amount of toppings on (chicken, ham, pineapple, mushrooms & bbq sauce). They even cooked the fettuccine slightly longer for us to suit our preferences. We shared the dishes and NEARLY made it through the final slice of pizza. We left so full and content. The menus options are substantial and prices are fair. Wish we had room to try the dessert! Next time… The atmosphere is lovely and lively here with nice dim lighting. Views of the yachts and water. The restaurant was basically full and we still managed to get a seat without reservation. However I would recommend making a reservation if you don’t want to miss out or for a special occasion. Parking is available down the road where the Bellerive pier is. Was free after 6pm.

1000/10 I breathe and live for pasta so trust me when I say this place serves one of the best Carbonara!!!! And that tiramisu, oh lord….just HEAVENLY. Also, we were served by some of the sweetest waiters and waitresses. So food was 10/10 and service was also 10/10. I would visit here every day if I could, sucks I live in Sydney. Also, I was very sad to hear that they didn’t offer ravioli here! So, chefs of Cugini, if you’re reading this, please add ravioli to the menu so future ravioli connoisseurs like myself can enjoy!

Best Italian food in Hobart, we have been eating here since opening years ago and the food is always the same great quality. Service is the best, the owner often comes to your table to say hi and make sure everything is as expected, makes it a personal experience. Staff are well presented and super friendly and know exactly what's on the menu. Recommended go to on the eastern shore. Veal was perfect and the Bolognese was superb, glad it's back in the menu. Calamari was tender and so flavoursome. Thank you

THE BEST PIZZAS in Australia. We have been going to Cuginni to both dine in and take-a-way for over 10 years. The quality of the food, customer service and friendliness is hard to beat. They are always busy - a sign of their great food & service. Their pizzas toppings are so thick and yummy, and go right to the edge of the base. I usually order the same pizza (yes Im boring but I love the Carne pizza with bbq sauce). I can NEVER eat a regular size, so for me it's great value. In the early years we have tried other pizzas around Australia, but Cuuginni pizzas are THE BEST in all Australia. Every Wednesday night my partner rings and orders the same pizza -Tutti with no pineapple. He drives from Lenah Valley to Bellerive (about 10 km each way) just to buy their pizza. When dining in, I 'occasionally' order a Fettuccini Carbonara as it's the best I've ever eaten, but always return back to my Carne pizza the next time. Alphonzo (the owner) always remembers our names, and the genuine smile on his face makes us feel so welcome. If you try their pizzas, I'm sure you won't go anywhere else...

I took my mum to Cugini for Mother’s Day and we had a delightful evening. We were immediately seated upon arrival and were given a table right next to the window so we had a great view of the yachts just as requested on my online booking. We had a delicious garlic pizzetta to share for our entree and the portion size was very generous. For our mains we both had the cacciatore and that too was incredible and tasted like some of the best authentic Italian food I’ve had. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the cannoli, both were delicious and definitely satisfied our sweet tooth’s. The waiters must be commended as well, they were extremely attentive and accommodating to any of our requests while making sure to refill our water and check in with us and our food. For a 3 course meal with drinks we paid $120 which I think is great value for the amazing quality we received. Highly recommend Cugini but make sure to book ahead as there wasn’t an empty seat in the whole restaurant, it’s popular...
