I had the displeasure of attending the bakery this afternoon. The staff were quite rude and had no manners when speaking to someone (walking off to write something down) without completing my order when writing my name down could have waited until point of sale was finalised. The food was soft and nothing exciting with so much seasoning salt it was sickening to eat (maybe have a shaker for customers to help themselves or ask how much we want) To walk into a bakery full of people makes you think you will get a great experience with all those people there but they need to focus on one or two points of sale not multiple points where you are unable to tell if someone is being served or whoโs next. Especially when food has been cooked and yelling out someoneโs name three times as they are trying to make the way around 20 people standing in the middle. For someone who works in retail itโs not a place i would rush to, as the change in staff over the period of time has really ruined what the bakery use to be about. Wish i could of...
ย ย ย Read moreBusy little spot right in the heart of Bellerive. This place always has the goods. Lots of hot food on offer or if it's not in the bane they'll usually cook it for you. Grab a doughnut while you're there too ๐! There's often a wait around lunch time but that's only because the chips are so frickin good!! Especially when they are hot and have that wicked seasoning! There's everything from hot food to salad wraps and rolls which are packed to the hilt and lots of sweet options. Most of the staff are really friendly and usually have a smile for you when serving and the COFFEE is good ๐๐พ Oh and also they now have a couple of tables inside but there is no table service, which is fair enough as it's not a Cafe it's a Bakery and they are usually very busy. But if you're nice they might bring you...
ย ย ย Read moreI bought a Fruit Loaf yesterday CRIPPS ,advertised at $2.70, Coles charged me $5.20 for it. It seems that despite having the same coloured wrapper and the same position on the shelf and having a giant YELLOW sticker saying Cripps fruit loaf $2.70 I inadvertantley picked up the ""thinly sliced"" SMALLER 700 gm version which is why I was slugged $5.20. IF I had of picked up the 900 gm larger version of exactly the same bread I would have got it for $2.70. Guess who will NEVER buy Cripps bread again.I pity the poor refugees who have trouble reading. If it can fool me it can fool anyone. Complaint sent to Coles head office, reply pending. Mistake or scam ? I don't know , but never buying Cripps again !!!!!felt like an imbecile trying to reason with 2 Coles women , plus extremely embarrassing,...
