Lots of potential but could do with some upgrades. The signage was rather old and the fantastic views across to Mount Wellington, the Hobart CBD and the mouth of the Derwent were obscured by vegetation. It is not clear where exactly you can/should walk around the fortifications so be prepared for backtracking and possible slips/falls as you wander around. It would be useful if a single path could be designated that takes in all of the main features with updated, sequential information along the way in order to allow visitors to get the most out of this excellent location and the history...
