My partner and I choose this place on a whim. I just suddenly really wanted curry and we googled nearby places. There were a few to pick from, to be honest I picked the one with the lowest prices (which is also a huge plus) We were SHOCKED with how lovely our experience was. We dined in. They gave us a complimentary veggi...thing which was absolutely LOVELY. We got the Indian butter chicken and the goat curry, the mango lassi's and guman julab.
It was my partners fist time trying curry and he was blown away. But myself, I've had it a lot, my fav being goat curry. I've moved all over Australia and I try different goat curries from many many different places and this goat curry, is HANDS DOWN THE BEST I have ever had. And we will be returning!!! REGURLARLY!!!
I had to edit because I forgot to mention how LOVELY the staff were. The lady who seated us was just so warm and inviting, but not that sort of in your face thing you get at some places. (I don't know if that sounded weird or not.) I don't usually stay to have a chat after our meal but we were so blown away we had to have a gab with her about our amazing experience. The way her face lit up was so wonderful, you can tell that she and the staff there take real genuine pride in their craft. As it is an art! One you can eat!

Read moreFood was absolutely horrendous. Order sikh kebab to start with. It came with the mint sauce which was almost rotten, it might have been at at least 7 days old. Some kind of vile smell was coming out of the sauce. Sikh kebab itself was below average. Wait staff was very rude and was busy with taking phone calls. After finishing the main course one of the staff told us if we were happy to keep using the old cutleries. We didn't even say anything to see whether they will provide us with the new cutlery for the main course or not! Ended up with no fresh cutleries. Tried the main course chicken korma with Naan it was mediocre at the best. It was horrible dining experience for me and my friend. Over priced food with mediocre test. If you want to flush your money down to the toilet and ruin your appetite then...

The 4 star is only for the service which is prompt.
I was happy when they opened thinking they'd give Annapurna good competition but they have an identical menu to them so nothing new and the curries prepared by their Bangladeshi chef are definitely not for the Indian palette. Too sweet with the meat or seafood prepared and just chucked into the curry without it being actually cooked in them- so absolutely flavourless. Their Malabar curry [a traditional Kerala dish] lacked even the basic ingredients of coconut, curry leaves and mustard seeds. What's with these saccharine tomato based sweet curries? Diabetics beware! I despair at the proliferation of these un-authentic Indian restaurants mushrooming all...
