After a busy day I figured a bit of Indian takeout would be easier than cooking. I was wrong. The place was packed with people, normally a good sign, but in this case it was mainly people waiting (apparently dine in customers get priority and the kitchen couldn't keep up with the half capacity dining room). So without putting too much thought into it I ordered and went to the supermarket thinking I would give them the time that the kids on the counter said they would need. I was wrong though as when i got back I still had a twenty minute wait in front of me. The last few minutes of which were spent looking at my food cooling as the girl bringing it from the kitchen read the wrong docket out when she brought the food out. Before getting out of there with the food, I heard another customer making a complaint about their order when the boy on the counter advised her that the kitchen had lost her docket so they hadn't started cooking her meal, more than 30 minutes later... No one was impressed. To compound the issues ordering they gave me an incorrect dish (1 out of 3), and when I called up and advised that they had made a mistake I was told to mention my name when I ordered another meal and I will be given some form of discount, no offer to fix the mistake then and there or refund the incorrect dish. On the plus side the Naan was good, on the negative the Rogan Josh was full of fat and gristle, on the whole head to Hobart City for curry, there are better and cheaper...

Really Dissatisfied, I have been coming here and supporting this restaurant for years!! We ordered a chicken curry and a beef and potato curry, flavours were fantastic not saying it wasn't but the chicken had 2 pieces in it not enough for even 1 person, the beef had 3 bite size pieces in it with 2 half of potatoes wouldn't even serve one child plus I ordered a large at a extra cost !! We had a serve of rice 1 roti all this for $74.50 absolutely disgraceful 😫 I rang to tell them this wasn't good enough to be told they had a new girl on and this was the reason why and I would be given a refund. I rang up again to be now told we won't give you a refund! This is not good enough for the price and then having to cook our own dinner . No refund and we will replace 1 curry. Will never return and will be letting others know not to go hear feel completely ripped off!! And by looking at all the other reviews it is the same story shame on you ! I don't often write a bad review I will go to the place where I've had a bad experience and let them know which I did, and it was handled poorly which is why I am now writing this. So other people don't...

Good food but sugary. The biggest let down was how the staff were terribly disorganised/mismanaged compared to some other restaurants. It seems as if they weren't trained by managers on how to run the front orderly. It's also doesn't help that a lot of staff seem to be teenagers. I heard that some other customers were waiting for a while due to the mismanagement of orders. I don't put the fault on the front of house workers. They need to be fully trained by a manager, and I have seen new trainees being trained by other FOH who don't have experience in training others.

To managers, don't put the responsibility of training new staff on to others. It's not fair on them. They aren't trained or capable of doing a role they didn't...

The Lamb Rogan Josh that wasn't. My wife ordered a Lamb Rogan Josh a nd a Butter Chicken to pickup. When she got home and started serving she noticed that the Lamb Rogan Josh was not Lamb Rogan Josh. It was something else. Lamb in some kind of cream sauce. When she called and told them there was some kind of mistake and described what she was given, she was told that "that is Lamb Rogan Josh today". What she should have been told when she ordered the meal or when she turned up to pickup the meal that they were sorry but there was no Lamb Rogan Josh and sorted out an acceptable alternative. When she called up to say she hadn't received the Lamb Rogan Josh she should have been offered a refund. I wish I could provide a zero rating.

Such a disappointing meal. Me and my partner went for a walk and decided to try this place out. Me and my partner paid for our own separate meals, but they overcharged us both for the Naans, and we ended up having to get a refund, which was quite the hassle. (As seen on the receipt, we were charged 11$ & 12$ when naan were meant to be 5$ & 6&) Apparently, there's an extra charge to dining in? I have never heard of this, and looking at other reviews now, it seems it is better to order your food and pick up instead of dining in. Butter chicken was very sweet. The lamb rogan josh was ok. Naans were also alright but nothing special to any of the food. Would probably not come back again.

We ordered a vegetable korma for takeaway. Got home and we realised we’d been given someone else’s order - was definitely chicken. My partner went all the way back and they swapped it over saying ‘yes, vegetable korma’. A quick ‘sorry’ but no discount or offer for future rectification at all. Got home to find no, it STILL wasn’t vegetarian, they given us lamb!! I’m not even sure it was korma! They were busy and there was no way we were driving there a third time. Tasted ok, but luckily we are not strict vegetarian! Won’t be going back anytime soon.
